These people have s****ed calling me about 6 months ago. They kept on calling back. The first time I was not sure who they were and they claimed that I owed them money for failing to attend a timeshare. The 2nd time they called I cut them off and told them that I already knew they were scams. They just called a***n tonight. I am sick and tired of these phone calls.
They have called me several times last month and once a***n today. Joshua Mills from Leisure Time Worldwide travel last time and the "Legal Department" this time. Same story claiming I owe $496 for failing to meet terms and conditions of a trip I took 4 years ago. He was very aggressive on his call today, getting very upset when I mentioned I have reported him to the police and my lawyer and to stop harassing me. They have the last 4 digits of a debit card I had several years ago, and know that I stayed at the Sahara. They can't give me any other detailsI did get them to email me a terms and conditions sheet, as well as what they attempted to pass off as an invoice - Can I get them for mail fraud if it is an email?I hate these sorry excuses for human beings. Had the audacity to say he was a "Volunteer Fire Fighter" and I needed to calm down because he was concerned about my safety. People like these don't deserve the air they breathe.
Same situation. They called me last night around 8 pst. I took a trip 6 years ago and they mentioned that there was a clause that I had to fulfill within four years of my trip (go to a 90 minute presentation on time shares). I told them to send the agreement with the clause to my email address. They agreed but I haven't seen it. Dug out my old receipt via email from the place I booked it which was Leisure Time and it nothing in regards to the clause. A straight transaction. They tried to get my CC number at the end, but I told them that I would do so after I had me friend (a lawyer) review the do***ention. They agreed, but like I said before, they didn't send me a copy of the agreement. If you go to the website (which they gave me), the numbers don't match up with the the customer service number they gave me which was 888-210-2221.
I received a call from this number this evening around 6pm central. They wanted to talk to my wife about a legal matter. He told me they were ready to take legal action a***nst her. I told them I would be happy to resolve the issue if they would mail me copies of what they thought we owed and the basis. He said he could not mail me any information for which I responded of course not because then I would get his a** for mail fraud. These are the same clowns that harassed us last fall about the same trip we took back in 2003 and I think we stayed at the Imperial Palace in Vegas. Same bs about not fulfilling a contract to visit a time share. Since I did a lot of research on these guys back then it was pretty easy to deflect them. They will not send anything to you through the mail because it is mail fraud..
We attended a time share meeting in Vegas and after a yera or two, I received the threatening calls from this phone number (LeisureTime Travel) who claimed we violated the agreement that we were to spend another couple nights at another location within a certain time frame and that time frame ran out so we now owe them $.DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION OR MONEY. They never called back and my credit is perfect.
Had a missed call from last Friday from this number. No message of course. From your descriptions this is the same scam that I s****ed getting calls on last fall but ended in April. Same **** about owing money for a trip I took years ago due to a failure to visit a time share. They really are idiots. Don't give them any personal information other than what they may already have. It seems they did get info either from the now defunct travel agency I used or from a hotel. Regardless, I did not owe them anything. I have already reported them to the Attorney General office and I suggest you do the same. Anything that might help shut them down PERMANENTLY.Check out First Class Travel Wise at the South East Florida BBB. They are rated "F"... We received a call from Michael Thomas, claiming that he was from "Leisure Time Worldwide" and that we owed him $1200 from 2004. He claimed that we had given him a $40 deposit using the credit card. To resolve the $1200 debt, he asked that we send him $496, $400 of which would be refunded to us at a later date. Same story above. He wouldn't give me verifiable contact information, only threats of litigation/credit smear.Other namesMichael Thomas, Michael Anderson, Joshua Mills via email1-888-210-2221 (don't take calls from general public)229-380-8997229-380-3974
We received a call from Michael Thomas, claiming that he was from "Leisure Time Worldwide" and that we owed him $1200 from 2004. He claimed that we had given him a $20 deposit using the credit card. To resolve the $1200 debt, he asked that we send him $496, $400 of which would be refunded to us at a later date. And, when Mr. Thomas was asked to repeat the part about the $496, because we were recording this conversation and wanted to make sure the information was understood accurately, he turned the conversation over to Michael Anderson, who claimed to be an attorney for Leisure Time Worldwide. Mr. Anderson stated that it was illegal for us to record this conversation, and we told him that it was legal in our state.Mr. Thomas and Mr. Anderson said they were going to take legal action to collect the entire $1200, plus destroy our entire credit rating, if we did not return their call by 10PM tonight and take advantage of their $496 resolution. We immediately called our credit card company because they (Anderson and Thomas) seemed to know our credit card number and canceled our card at the advice of the credit card company representative. The credit card company representative said that there were NO charges to Leisure Time Worldwide at any time on our card. He also stated that Mr. Thomas and Mr. Anderson were probably running a scam and advised us not to call them back.
Called at dinner time demanding to talk to my husband. When asked who was calling he would only give me the name of Josh and demanded to speak to my husband on a very time-sensitive matter. I asked a***n who he represented, he refused to say and I ***g up on him.
This guy is a scammer. He got my name from Vegas Hotels, com. No other way that He could have picked up my phone number. He poses as a collection agent who will smear your reputation if you don't pay his outstanding bill with a credit card.
My friend just recieved a number from this caller. The caller was looking for information about me saying that I owed money but would not say where he was calling from. I definitley do not owe anything! Definitely a scam.
Harassing phone calls claiming that I owe money for a trip that I took 6 years ago.
