Received call from 229-848-3478. Apparent telemarketer. from Tifton, Ga. My number is supposed to be on a registered NO CALL list.

SAID I TOLD THEM TO CALL ME,WHY WOULD I ,I DIDNT LIKE SCHOOL WHEN I HAD TO GO WHY WOULD I WANNA GO BACK.SO THEY SAID THEY PUT ON "THEIR" DO NOT CALL LIST,WE'LL SEE.

called and ***g up, when i call the number back it say voice mail is full and I want to know why it is calling me

I have received a call from this number and it's not the only one I'm dealing with at the moment. I do't have a credit card and haven't had one in over 5 years. Yet they want to talk to me about my card. HMMMMI have contacted the FTC, BBB, Ohio Attorney General, local Police, as well as the annoyance hotline. These are really the only things that we can do to put an end to all these scammers out there. It's illegal to call someone and have an automated system speak to you. It must be a live person no matter what the call is about. You can report any of those calls whether you are on the DO NOT CALL list or not. Just keep a record of dates and times. As well as what was said if anything. Each time they call you, report it. They will be fined for every call made to you after you register with the do not call registry. I'm fed up with people. I need money as well and have been jobless for a year now. I'm not out there scamming people to make an easy buck. I want to earn it like every one else. Apparently these people think that they can just take hard earned money from us. Not on my wacth. They call me and they get charged with fraud, harrassment, abandoned calls, and anything else I can attach to the list of charges.

I just received a call from this number. Did not leave a message.

It's an outbound call service, then then connects to someone who is trying to sell you on a debt consolidation. I asked him for a number to call back and the man s****ed yelling at me and then ***g up on me. "We don't have a phone number we are an outbound call service!"Uhh ok, Definitely not trusting my finances to a "business" with no available phone number! Priceless.

Anyone know what this number belongs to?   Got a call on my cell phone from them but they didnt leave a message,   If its a debt collector I dont owe anything?

As I read from others, I was grateful that I did not answer the call to my cell line, which is typical as I do not answer numbers that I don't recognize. No message left on VM. I wish the government would review sites like these and automatically shut off the phone service from companies who provide unsolicitated services. How quickly would they go out of business if that happened???

They called and I pressed 1 to talk to a representative and asked who they were looking for and he ***g up on me. I REALLY hope they call back.

They keep calling my company cell phone. Automated message about lowering your credit card rates and it said press 1 to speak to somebody. When I pressed 1 to talk with representated and asked them to remove my phone number from their list I was told no and ***g up on.

Card holder services unsolicited phone call came in on my pay-as-you-go phone regarding my credit card (I do not have any credit cards). When I pressed 1 to talk with representated and asked them to take the phone number off call list, they ***g up on me.

Missed call. i tried to call back and just got a dead signal

The call s****ed as a automated message about lowering your credit card rates and it said press 1 to speak to somebody. Since I have been getting this call a couple of times, I was going to tell them to take me off their call list. When I talked to a person I told them to take me off their call list and they said no and ***g up. They are violating federal law by not taking me off their call list after I requested them to do so.

Just got a call from them 10 minutes ago on my cell phone. They didnt leave a message.

Just got a Sprint Cell Phone YES****AY and today, call from from Rachel saying she was calling about my credit card account. One day and the junk already s****s LoL

Got a recording from "Rachel" saying she was calling about my "credit card account."  I ***g up before I could get the pitch.

Called my girlfriend and I at the exact same time, somehow.  She called it back and it said mailbox full.  I called it back and got some kind of beeping (not a busy signal, but similar).

Got a from this number as well, 229 848 3478. I didn't answer since I screen some calls I really don't recognize and was busy at the time. I suspect since posting a resume on Monster.com or other job sites they might have gotten my number from that.

called and got an automated message stating they could lower my CC interest rate and asked me to press 1 to  talk to a rep. I did but no one answered. I wanted to talk to them to find out what CC They showed me having because I don't have a CC account with anylone!My caller ID said it was a cell phone.

Called up as 'Card Holder Services' offering discounts - same exact message I've heard I don't know how many times.They only s****ed after my company switched to CitiBank cards for our corporate accounts instead of American Express.

229-348-8478 called, just got new Vonage phone service last week, unlisted and already put on Do Not Call List.  How do they get numbers that have just been generated.
