Recording and busy. Claim to Sierra club

Claim to bd Sierra club ..but who knows

They call several times a day and I don't answer

I have been receiving several calls a day - left them a message to a recording that said they would remove my number w/in 24. I also left instruction not to sell or share my name. the recording said quality****urance - life is such an oxy***** these days.

Apparently this is Sierra Club. They call every day, and leave no message. They are quite insistent. I have noticed I am getting Sierra Club emails like crazy. I have unsubscribed from the emails, but am afraid I am going to get telemarketer calls forever. Oh, and to the people who wonder why they are still getting calls by this organization, even though they are on the 'Do Not Call List', you will continue to get those calls because the List does not apply to 'Not for Profit' organizations. Have fun, and maybe if we just answer the phone and make a donation, they will go away. However, if you are going to make a donation to a worthy cause such as the Sierra Club, do it on their secure website, and not giving your credit card number to someone you don't know, over the phone. :-)

They have called me several times in the past few weeks. Tonight was the first time they left a "message"-- there was no one on the line, just silence.. Have any of you subscribed to a newspaper lately? This happened to me a couple years ago when I subscribed to the SF Chronicle.
