I have a car for sale on Craigslist for $5,000 I received an email from Bruce Kuojo stating he would like to buy my car. He sent me a cashiers checkfor $6,230 by UPS. He wanted me to take the $5,000 for my then send a check for $1,230 to a trucking company to come get my car. My bank put a 5 day hold on the check to make sure it was real. After only 1 day it came back that the check was fake. I s****ed doing some research on google and found all the addresses he gave me did not match the companys he said was at them locations. I let him know the check was fake he them sent me 2 or 3 emailstrying to get me to beleave the check was real. He still tried to get me to send the $1,230 after I found out the check was fake. I just told him he was crazy and told him to go find some other dumb a** that may fall for his fake check. This took place from 10/15/08-10/31/08. I'm happy to say this piece of **** did not get anything from me.

Listed two items on craigslist. Got an almost immediate email from 'Dr. Bruce Kuojo'. I did reply, but haven't gotten my "being scammed" instructions yet. I probably won't hear from him a***n as soon as I tell him I will only take good ol' American cash.

Scammer working Craigslist sent cashiers check via UPS overnight for an amount in excess of purchase price with instructions to mail personal check for the overage to his shipper. All phone messages were from a blocked overseas caller. Nigerian s***.
