Thanks to Been Verified I now highly suspect that this person tried to extort money from me with a claim that I had outstanding debts. Before the male on the phone could get going with his scripted pitch I immediately informed him that my rights under the CFPB required a letter within 72 hours of 1st contact stating the debt(s) owed. That shut him down quick! Then I did a search on the phone number and wow! This woman and her cohort(s) are really doing a con on folks. It's fortunate that I have extensive knowledge on credit and lending rights & laws that govern lenders & debtor's.
