Leave a CommentThis is the third time this caller (239-263-5860) has interrupted a long-distance call when I was on the phone. Says so****ing about "Do you know your warranty is about to expire?" I don't have a warranty that's about to expire. Nice try. I may use my coach's whistle on 'em next time. Or maybe an air horn. I've heard that's useful.
Call came in at March 5, 2008 at 10:00 AM. The # (239) 263-5860. I did NOT answer the call. No message was left.
I got a call from this number but no message. When I called back from a public phone, I got a recording that said "we're sorry, but the number that you have dialed is not in service". I am on the do not call list. I'm reporting them to donotcall.gov.
I just went to the Do Not Call Registry to file a complaint BUT they are not accepting the complaint because their number isn't in the registry. I was just called at 3:46pm est but didn't pick it up and they didn't leave a messege.
Final follow up on this call. I went to the Federal Do not call registry and they have a complaint link which I am posting below. If enough of us report these folks, maybe they will get off our backs...yea like that will happen, but it is worth aggrevating them!https://donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx
They call at least once a day. I found this info on the web.Address:Sotheby''sNaples, FL 34103Phone:(239) 263-5860
Also, for what its worth, I just called the number back and low and behold, got a recording "we're sorry, but the number that you have dialed is not in service" With VOIP and all the other internet technologies today, it is a scam for sure. They are trying to harvest your personal information.
Well, after getting this call once a day for over a week, I decided to proceed thru the **** process and see what they wanted. Pressed the required number to get thru the phone maze. The nice lady asked if I was calling about the promotion, and I told her, No, you called me, and have done so every day for a week, and I am tired of it and want to find out which credit card it is so that I can cancel it, if, in fact, you do represent a credit card company. Go figure, she ***g up on me. Being in law enforcement, it appears to be a scam to get you to be gullible enough to reveal personal information about yourself that if it is legit, they should have anyway. My thoughts, don't tell them anything.Oh, and I am on Texas and Federal do not call lists.
calls but leaves no message
Thanks Lex. This information of the type that is very helpful to most people. I encourage more people to include such details.
I got a call on my cell phone from this number. A recorded message was left in my voicemail, but the first part of the message was cut off. The part I could hear said "...repairs. Press 1 to speak with a warranty specialist, or 2 to disconnect."Looks like they're ***n****g out from their credit card scam.
I just received a call from "+2392635860". This is the second time I've received a call from weird numbers. I answered but no one said anything at all. They just ***g up.
I get calls from these people all the time. When you answer, a message plays from "w***ver" at account services calling about your credit card account. So****ing about time is running out to contact them about lowering the rates. They give you two options: press 1 to talk to a representative about it (I did this once the first thing out of the guy's mouth was trying to get me to say that I elected to talk to them about my accounts...I said no and was promptly ***g up on) OR you can press 2 to be deleted from their call list (I have done this too...they still call)I think it's a scam!!! We don't even have credit cards so we know this is phony! They will probably just charge your cards if you give them your info! Also if you try to call them back, it gives you a funny "this number has been disconnected" message. BEWARE!!
Another call from "Heather from account services calling about your credit card"
Call from this number, I answered and was immediately ***g up on. I have been receiving calls from strange numbers about credit accounts or warranties expiring on vehicles. I spoke to a "representative" about the warranty. He asked me to provide the make and model of my vehicle, I told I had several and asked if he could provide me with the information. I was put on hold for a short time before I was disconnected.
