Report their name and number to Federal Trade Commission!

Ive been receiving  calls from these dumb a**es for the past 9+ months!!! When they first called I was really freaked out and I did call back thinking that I did so****ing wrong or owed $$ to these idiots!!  However, very quickly what they were saying was NOT adding up and they could NOT provide me with ANY proof that I owe them or anyone else money!!!  All they kept doing was threatening me and yelling. They call for a week straight and than I dont hear from them for weeks. They even went as far as calling my job!! So embarrassing and annoying!! I had to inform my co workers of what was going on and and that it was a SCAM! Now they say I dont work their anymore-thank god!   Whenever these idiots call its always the same bull, that I need to contact my lawyer and that they have 'just received my file' and if I don't pay my outstanding balance or call them back ASAP that they will report me to AZ somthing so****ing....I can't even understand the loosers because they can't even speak engli**** DO NOT fall for it!!! Its a total SCAM!!! They can be very intimidating with their loud overpowering voice messages but its a TOTAL SCAM!! They did know my ss # which was scary, however I have a privacy guard acct and if anything pops up I'm alerted ASAP! Hopefully these loosers give up!  It does however give me a good chuckle to know that when they call that they WILL NOT BE RIPPING ME OFF and that I'M NOT antimidated!!

Same group of people, different company name and personal names, have been harrassing me for going on a year now.  Different phone number now before.  Have reported to local authorities and HLS and FBI and Secret Service.   No one seems to give a ****, nothing they can do they say.  I WILL NOT c****e my phone number......have probably 10 messages on my cell phone this time.....last time they were leaving nasty ***ual messages on my voice mail....still have them saved and every other one they have left.......SOME DAY THEY WILL GET THEIRS!!!!

Keeps calling threatening to send me to jail..

This number keep calling at my work place but I don't who is that person and its bothering me because I don't him. I want to find what does he want from me?

Same **** happened to me today (Tue Nov 16, 2010). Foreign accents with English names.  I let them know that they either had a case of Iden***y Theft or were SCAMMERS and not to call my number a***n.First person identified themself as George Wilson to whom I explained that they have the wrong party since I would NEVER TAKE A PAYDAY LOAN.  He insisted that I had taken a Payday Loan, had all my details, etc., gave a File No and told me I had to meet them in court next Thursday Nov 24th.I laughed and told them I did not have to meet them anywhere and if they met me in court it would be because I filed a lawsuit a***nst them and that they would have to PAY ME.  Explained that I knew the law.  I ***g up after telling them not to call my house a***n.George Wilson called a***n and put an "Attorney on Line".  When I asked for the Attorney's Bar Number, they refused.  Had fun telling Shirley Whitley off and ***g up on them a***n!

I have been being harassed by them for a year!  I never took any payday loan to owe them for!  This is a bunch of ****!

This same caller managed to scam my boss out of nearly $1000, and is now trying to see if she will fall for it a***n. She found out that it is being investigated by Homeland Security and the FBI, so if you get any calls like this, take DETAILED notes, and then call the FBI. DO NOT send them any money!!!!

A caller with an Indian or East Asian accent giving a very Anglicized name and demanding money for a payday loan "or they will sue"  or threaten jail is highly su****ious.    Payday loan sites get hacked on a seemingly regular basis and  scams using info hacked from these sites to collect totally fraudulent loans is common.   They will even know  personal info such as your last four digits of your SSAN, DOB, address etc., all taken from the stolen records.    They can even use that info to get even more info on you from personal info sellers like Choicepoint.    Unless you know for sure you owe the money, be very careful about giving them any personal info, especially bank account information (they will clean you out,)  record the calls if legal in your jurusdiction, and demand a mailing  address so you can send them a "cease and desist" letter (see FDCPA Sect 809.)   Since thee calls almost always come from overseas, there isn't much the authorities can do to stop them.  So protect yourself.

Is this really a Litigation Firm calling?  They have been calling me for the past month or so and have a very heavy accent (Indian). They call back to back leaving one message.  Sometimes the number comes up unknown and other times it comes up with the 240-205-7493 number.  Does anyone know how to stop them from calling you besides c****ing your phone number?  I have talked with one lawyer and he advised that there are other people getting these calls and not to give them any of your information because they are scamming you out of money.  He advised that he had one client scammed out of about $3000.00 because these people scaring you into giving them money.  Since I have been googling all of these numbers, I have learned that there are a lot of people out there getting these calls trying to figure out how to them to stop calling. This is getting very irriating and they need to stop these people from committing these scams.

Total BS.   There is a group out there, possibly based in India, that has hacked or stolen info from payday loan sites and uses the info to intimidate people into paying settlements they don't owe in the first place.   The dead giveaway is the heavy Indian accent and the threats of jail if you don't pay.   Don't even dream of falling for this.    Anyone who does not only gets ripped off, but is on an "ultimate ****er" list that will have every crook under the sun targeting you.

Oh heavens... I was so fearful they called and complained said Iwas going to jail if I don't pay the money I owe... Oh no no no I just had to pay, you see my grand-daughter is in this big ol` production for christmas I cant miss it, he told me if I dont pay up they`ll take my passport. I had to pay just had to!!!I cant believe the debt I had, I did not even remember making all these debts!!! I am so bad sometimes with all the medicines, I wish my daughter was here to call them and talk to them they were so upset with me, I am so bad. They were being nice all charming like after a while cut me a deal! had to pay only 90% they took off 10%!! I got lucky

IT"S A SCAM!!  These idiots keep calling me as well.  They call my work and cell.  I never answer my cell phone when they call but I have to answer my phone at work. I spoke to someone at the police department and they said the next time they call, get as much info as you can about them, even if you have to go as far as making them think you're sending money.  The PD asked me to call them back with the info and they would file a report with the SBI and FBI. The PD in my area knows that folks are getting these calls and seems to be trying at least to help bust it up.

they called wanted payment for overdue cc. I have no overdue cc so I told them I was reporting them. They s****ed cursing and threatening to make my life*****. I reported them to the FBI. I WAS TOLD TO **** UP ON THEM AND REPORT THEM ASAP. FYI if you are reading this 240... they are coming for you!!

I faxed a cease and desit letter to the fax # that they gave me but evidently, that did not work since they have s**** calling me a***n. I have reported them to the Federal Administration, You mean NO ONE KNOWS HOW WE CAN STOP THESE PHONE CALLS???? Please advise.

They called me and said i owed them money for a payday loan that i didnt pay off!! I was like no I paid it off and if i didnt i wouldnt have my car. He told me i better pay the money or was gonna have to go to court and even serve jail time.

I got the same call, infact, he has s****ed calling a family member of mine.  Its a collection agency for a payday loan and you have to put references on original application which they say aren't used to determine approval on the load, but they will s**** calling them at all hrs. of the day.

Someone foreign called and said that I need to call them asap that they had a legal matter involving my social and that if i didnt call they would proceed by going to court!  Very angry person when you call back and irrate if you ask them any questions even proceeded to curse at me becasue I said i was reporting to the local authorities!
