We are on a Do Not Call List...how do they get my number all the time? They refuse to take my number off their list and alays **** up...
Report them (file a complaint) to the do not call registry if you are registered, the more of us that do it the better it will be.
These people are RELENTLESS! They even argued with my husband that I had asked them to call. They call several times a day.I've gotten to the point that I don't answer any phone calls with numbers I don't recognize because I know it could be them. They have to be stopped.
Feature Films has called me 5 times in one day, i don t answer because when you ask them to remove number they won't.Second time I reported this. They keep calling from different area codes.
Dave and Brenda move around a lot. I have found their name in 6 different area codes and numbers, with their names switched around for some diversity. When I have answered it has been Feature Films for Families which also uses FFF or Consumers Desk FF a**** other caller ID information. I have requested to be removed from their calling list on numerous occasions but to no avail. I am very frustrated.
Tell them that you are herby warning them to issue further communication via writing ONLY and that if they call you a***n they are breaking the telecommunications act and you will report them to the police. Also make sure you tell them you record your calls for security purposes - even if your actually not.But try recording them. This company will make your life***** if you let them.Do your research and be in control. If your not comfortable doing this tell them what I said above and **** up. If they call you more than 3times in 1 day this is breaking the law.Do your reserch search "The Consumer action group" on google, you can find all the laws and info put simply on there.BEWARE, DON'T EVEN CONFIRM YOUR IDEN***Y/NAME TO THEM ON THE PHONE.If its important, they already have your address and will write to you.
The caller asked for me by name and wanted to know if my order (which I never made) met my expectations. When asked who he was, he said he was calling on behalf of Feature Films for Families. When I asked for more information, he continued to ask for me, by name. When I continued to persist in asking for information, he wanted to call back later. I told him he would be smarter not to. This is the first time I answered a call from this number, but not the first time having it appear on caller ID.
240-389-6688 "DAVE, BRENDA W" is actually FEATURE FILMS for FAMILIES, and they call with an automatic dialer that (usually) has a recording of a male voice saying, "May I speak to (first name) please?"Depending on how you answer, you may get the recorded male voice repeating the question, a ****-up, or an actual sales person breaking in. We've had several ****-ups when I asked who is calling, I got the broken English sales lady by saying "Which (first name)?".Call the above number and ask to be taken permanently off the calling list. You'll probably get some nice guy in Frederick, MAryland who'll do it for you. Hopefully it worked. To contact this company, here is their website: http://www.familytv.com/contactus.aspxAnd you can contact their legal dept here to complain:Confidentiality"Feature Films For Families does not disclose nor sell the names or phone numbers of its customers. This information is considered strictly confidential. If you believe this policy has been violated, please contact our Legal Department at 1-800-FAMILY-TV (ext. 243)."
