I received multiple text messages from WhatsApp telling me my WhatsApp account is being registered on a new device and then a call came through from this number two times in a row. I blocked the caller.

Message from Whatsapp informed me a person was trying to register my account with a new code. Then a call came, I answered it, it was a code number. Reported to Whatsapp

The person already have access to my account as I was trying to login into my whatsapp he called me to verify the code.

Wanted me to verify my WhatsApp account, but I never downloaded WhatsApp. There was a su****ious link in the message.

They hacked my friends Facebook messenger and asked me to send him the code. I didn't click on anything just screen**** the code.. so I wasnt hacked thankfully but it was close.. beware
