Leaves no message except what sounds like elevator music. No words just music so as far as I am concerned this is SPAM. I am also on the do not call register and yet they continue. They are not welcomed to call my phone!

I am on the Do not Call list and got a call from this survey company. I asked them to take me off their list, they then said that they are sponsored by the federal government and so don't have to comply with that

legit, my a**legit companies honor do-not-call requests, the caller from this number does not

I strongly agree with you and go one step more.  When you ask them not to call back and they do, not once but twice, they need to get the messageand not call.  I told them that I did not want to respond and the person on the first call was extremely rude.  At the end of the second call, the person gave me a sarcastic remark and I am about to call their company headquarters and complain tomorrow.  I have never experienced any company that does not listen to a request not to be called and I am on the Do Not Call List.

Clearly you need to come up with a new sampling strategy because harassing your****ential survey-takers with several calls a week and leaving no message indicating who you are or what you want isn't working for you. I have blocked your number and will encourage anyone else being contacted by you to do the same. At least have the courtesy to identify yourselves.

I get regular calls from this number about twice a week. I never answer them. The caller never leaves a voice mail.

A female saying she is calling from the department of transportation conducting a study and if I am over the age of 18 and a resident of the household. All the questions were about our household cars and about the gas we used to fill up our cars.she would be sending a questionnaire on  week daytravel log only. Did I make wrong answering her questions?

I kept answering the survey until she mentioned so****ing about sending me a monitoring "so****ing" on Dec. 6, I didn't understand what she was talking about.  She kept insisting on sending it because it was needed for the Dept. of transportation.  She did know my address, so I imagine she would have asked  for my last name which I was not going to divulge. All the questions were about our household cars and about the gas we used to fill up our cars.   Too many questions.

Just received a phone call from this number. Young lady seemed to know they were calling a cell phone as the first question asked was if I was driving at the time (should have answered yes). She claimed to be calling from the Dept of Transportation. The next question was whether I was 18 or over. The third question asked if this was my primary phone (or so****ing like that). I replied that this was my personal cell phone and did not like receiving the call. The response was "Oh, you cannot hear me....". I ***g up.

If they say it's regarding the University of California, it's actually a legitimate call having to do with a health survey they are conducting.  It's being handle by a third party and that's why it seems phony coming from Maryland.  I thought it was designed to survey only UC employees/retiree's but apparently not.  No identifying information is requested (I have parti****ted in this survey) so it's safe.

called a couple of times. the first time, a lady left a message saing she's calling for UC California on a health survey. the number with a 240 area code which is Maryland. somthing smells about this caller. why is she calling from Maryland on a UC California survey.

looked up number in whitepages.com...seems whomever it is is a landline..based in maryland nowhere near calif.  and the proviedr is verizon.  wonder if we complain to verizon if we can get it STOPPED

Female caller identified herself as representing the University of California and was conducting a survey on health...she be***n by asking if I was over 18yo and was my phone number for a residence,business...etc...I declined to parti****te...always leary of phishing scams...and giving out personal info that could be used a***nst me or wind up in a growing data base about me...she obviously was reading unrehe****d from a script...maybe some poor soul just trying to make a buck...***** me if I become a telemarketer

They called. Did not leave a message. Now I blocked them using my GrandCentral "SPAM" function. They'll hear that my number is disconnected...
