Leave a Commentsaid so****ing about winning a prize and to call them back at some number...spoke to fast for me to understand most of it. junk
I have reason to believe it is a collection agency (in this case CCNA).
I didn't even bother to call. I knew it was a scam. IF YOU USE A CELL PHONE, DON'T ANSWER TO NUMBERS YOU ARE NOT FAMILIAR WITH. IF IT IS IMPORTANT, THEY CAN LEAVE A MESSAGE. WHEN IN DOUBT, GOOGLE SEARCH THE STRANGE PHONE NUMBERS BEFORE YOU EVER CALL THEM BACK.
Same story as the others here - overly enthusiastic woman caller reading a script very badly calls my cell phone and after letting her continue by hitting "1", goes on to say I can pick up my free airline tickets in Fort Collins at some event location. Then wants me to leave my name, spouse's name, phone number, address etc. What a sorry excuse for someone trying to make money. Who keeps these guys in business anyway?
They called my work cell phone. There is no way that ANYONE ever registered this number with them. They're making cold calls and lying about you (or a family member) signing up.They also want your drivers license and a credit card number. (Would you trust an obvious liar with this information?)
Same as the others above. First telemarketer to actually leave me a voice mail. Was told to call 800.268.3113 to reclaim my package travel deal. Isn't this kind of **** illegal?!
I'm so sick of these. It was an obviously recorded scam saying I won a trip to anywhere in the states since a family member filled so****ing out for me and my spouse, which I don't actually have. What really gets me is their audacity in intentionally making their message tough to understand and super peppy and excited. I hope this woman can't sleep at night. What hosers.
I did not answer the call becoz it is from an unknown number to me
Sounded too good to be true. I don't know how they got my number, but it makes me angry!
Same thing as Megan and Andrew. I just Googled the number and this site popped up. Hopefully all these reports can help bust these low lifes?
marketing spam for some travel company "Destination Unlimited"scam, pure and simple.
same situation as above. I have never received a call on my cell from a telemarketer until today. But I did switch over to Verizon this weekend and kept my old number so I wonder it they are giving out the number, which I asked if they did and was told "no".
Same as megan- missed the call while at work and directed it here- says it is listed in buckystown, MD- for whatever that is worth.
Got the same scripted/prerecorded voice mail from Maggie at samstar advertising. Was really fast until the 800 # to call for more information.
I actually didn't answer it, it was in my missed call numbers and I looked up the number online and found these.
Same as bah above, left voicemail, but said it was someone from SamStar Advertising
Same as above, called cell, but didn't leave number told me to press "2" to learn more. ***g up instead.
same as bah above, called cell, saw the number went to voice mail, sounded recorded
"maggie" called my cell phone claiming that i won airfare to anywhere in the US based on a form that a family member or i filled out last year. that or it was "a mistake of their own". did not mention my name. sounded scripted. words intentionally hard to understand. gave a 1-800 number to call back.
Telemarketer recording saying I won a prize...
