I keep getting calls from this number. I don't know anyone with this number and I want the calls to stop. I am registered in the do not call registery.
i need to know where this number is from state zip code city
They left no message or anything, tho I have been getting incessant calls from a bill collector which has no grounds for collection (THEY usually use an unknown number--and are ringing thru this very second as I type). I think it could be the same fraudulent company.
No answe and no message
no message left.I didnt answer my phone.

This phone number is Maritz Research. (a lot of people mis-heard the name when they posted about it... it's not "marriage" or "merits" or other variations.)This company handles customer service from T-Mobile, under their "Voice of the Customer" program. We s****ed receiving calls from this number mere hours after s****ing with T-Mobile. The calls continued the first day or so. I tried speaking with customer care both in-store and on their phone support line. At first, all representatives insisted they were not aware of such a service and had theories about "previous persons who may have had your number" to explain it. I knew that was wrong since Maritz was using my own name when calling the new line. Finally, today i spoke with Joe at T-Mobile who confirmed that this was in fact a call as part of their "Voice of the Customer" program. I informed him that it would make a lot more sense if they waited at least a couple days and if they left a voicemail when not rea****g their target customer. Getting a message saying "We're calling from T-Mobile since you just got new service" is a far sight better than having a random number call you and leave no voicemail over and over as soon as you get a new phone. So there you have it... it's somewhat annoying, but it's legit and T-Mobile's customer care dept is trying to escalate our concerns to parties that might c****e the manner in which such surveys are handled.

They have called my work twice. One time a co-worker answered. Today I was on another call when they tried to reach me. I do not know who this is.
Got a call this this evening around 8pm. Of course I didn't answer or call back. If its important, the caller would leave a message or contact me via email or paper mail. I hate calls from unidentified people or companies anytime of day but especially in the evening.
TM customer also. Received a call and a strange message,"I'm busy right now call U back". What the heck.
got a call from this number. im also a tmobile client. weird.
sounds like it's nothing but customer service follow up. i placed a call to T-mobile customer service yes****ay and had a call from the number today. Didn't answer since I didn't know who it was, but reading this seems to clear up the mystery.
Two calls from this number: one yes****ay, and another today. I have no idea who this is. No message left either time. called back it sometype of company
I got two calls from this number. It turns out that it is a research firm calling to get customer service feedback for T-Mobile. They didn't ask any personal questions or information, just was the person friendly, did they answer my questions, etc. Normal CS follow up stuff asked by any third party company hired to help with quality control. I did recently purchase a new phone from TM and found nothing crazy about the person at the other end.
I received the second call in the past 3 days from this number, they never leave a msg.I hate people like them, they have nithing better to do then bug us!?!
Several times I've received a call from 240-699-8960. They never left a message. I called them. I got an automated message saying this is Merits Research and they are in accordance with the law as they are not a telemarketing firm. In other words the **** government said it's ok to bother us any time they like. The recording suggests calling 800-864-8601 to have your number put on the do not call list. I did that. Suppose to take up to 3 days. Let's see what happens. I just switched phone companies. I now use T-Mobile. Since most people say they have T-Mobile I'll bet there's a connection somewhere and T-Mobile will not admit it. Who knows.
Unsolicited telemarket call
A few months ago your phone company could s**** selling your phone number! To stop telemarketers call

Judy- mine is also a T-Mobile phone... I wonder if there's a connection there.
I received this call like 3 days after getting my cell phone. Even my parents don't have the number back. I called it back and listened to an automated message, telling me I could call to place my number on their do not call list. Apparently they comply with federal do not call list regulations, so you have to get on the "company" do not call list. I did this (I hope) by calling 1-800-864-8601.
I've had this phone for 3 days, and I've given the number to no one. Where do these people get my number?
I received the same call on my T-Mobile cell phone. Are they selling my phone number, and if so is that legal?
Two calls from this number: one yes****ay, and another today. I have no idea who this is. No message left either time. I did not call it back.
