Leave a CommentAnthony is right... they are not "hijacking" anything, they are simply using an e-mail address they scoured from some internet site. Google "Joe Job", it is nothing new or revolutionary.

Received an unrequested message via email and they used my own email address as the Sender. Said my Mother had asked them to call. Pretty cruel as my Mother has passed away.Sleezey outfits preying on innocent people. Any chance we can track them down?Anyone have the number of the Mafia in Georgia.

If you still have the message, go to www.ic3.gov and report the attempted fraud; also, forward the message as an attachment to [email protected]. Too bad there isn't a way to find out where the sender is located since it is supposedly a local number.
The previous message should have had [email protected]. It was missing the second "t".Both emails had 248-213-1439 as the phone number to call.
Similar E-mails came from two sources:[email protected] (189.69.14.145) and [email protected] (79.15.194.205)Both of them s****ed my email address as the source.
Same. They are offering a PhD in 4 weeks. Bunch 'o ****!
