Called for someone else. Told them I didn't know them but they keep calling so I finally told them to stop calling. I finally blocked the number.

Has anyone tried to talk to the attorney firms that say they can get you 500-1500 per call from these debt collectors calling all the time.

Like everyone else I don't answer unknown numbers. They didn't leave a message. This was the third call I received like it from three different numbers today. They all are reported to be from Portfolio Recovery****ociates

They call many times per day, never leave message, they use many phone numbers, trying to collect on debt from 8 years ago.

Debt collector. Buys old debts (sometimes past statue of limitation to collect on) tries to get you to acknowledge debt. NEVER acknowledge a debt. It s****s the time over. Smartest thing to do is act like you don't know yourself and give a false name.
