My mother received this call yes****ay and a***n today.  I've notified the Attorney General and the FBI.  I've also contacted the phone company to block the number.

I got the call too. A few days in a row because I didn't pick up.

I received a call today from a lady saying my checking account # showed up on a public website and to get my check book and read off the account # to verify it to be taken off. I told the lady she was f***ing nuts and im gonna call the cops. she ***g up on me and i called her back but i got this french automated message that ***g up on me every time. BEWARE

I recieved a phone call from this number today for someone who had the phone number over 8 years ago, when I told him that it was the wrong number, and before I could get out, I have had this number for years please stop calling, HE ***g up on me... So I called it bac**** And it was some answering ma****e all in French... What ****s!! People have been calling for the same person for YEARS now and, well, they get nowhere!!!

A man stated there was a problem with the bank acc. He had the first 2 letters of the acc.; but he needed the rest of the numbers to "straighten out" the acc. Then a second man was on the line ( suppervisor), he also told my mother he HAD to have the numbers. She explained that she didn't like doing this over the phone , so they put a woman on the line !!! Finally, my mother gave the numbers. She knew better ; but these scam artist were very convinsing to her . That's all it takes !!    I think these people should be locked up ; and the key thrown away because of preying on the elderly !!!!!

Had a call a male with no dialect asked if I was "so & so" I said "who's calling?" he repeated is "so & so" there I said a***n, "who's calling?" the third time it was all repeated but when I said "who's calling?" he got so mad and frustrated he called me every name (at least 10 horrible names) I ***g up & when I called back (looking for a supervisor or ?) it answered in a language I didn't understand.

The same thing just happened to me about 15 mins ago. I questioned the the heck out of this guy and s****ed yelling at me. DO NOT GIVE THIS NUMBER ANY INFORMATION. I called my bank to make sure i am protected and they reassured the bank has your informaton and would not call you to verify anything.

I just received a call from this number and it was a women "warning" me that my checking account information was in a public place on the Internet and that I had to verify the info before she could remove it for me.  When I told her that it didn't make sense for me to give her that info, she ***g up.  I wish I had asked her more probing questions or told her that she was the devil, but unfortunately I didn't think of it at the time.

Caller was a well-spoken American male. He said so****ing like "Hello, may I speak with (my first and last name)?". I said "This is him". Then he immediately ***g up. I called the number back, and it was a French recording. I don't speak French, but I found someone who does, and here is the translation: "Good day, Please wait to be connected to the party you want to talk to. Please wait a minute. Thank you." And then it ****s up.

some "don"-so****ing-or-other called my house asking me for checking account information or credicard info and said he was going to take me off a national calling list...... he wasnt very smart.. talking aboutg oing on a date or saying he didnt want me to talk to his supervisor cause he didnt want to get into trouble. thenhe was his supervisor.. the convo went on for about 5 ot six min. he wasnt very smart

Received a call from 248-256-5127 - saying they had to close my checking account and open a new one because of a fraud.  They wanted checking account information.  I told them I would contact the bank directly.  They ***g up!!! This phone number is a BIG FRAUD!!!! Warn your family members to look for this.

My 85 year old ***her had just gotten home, after being on dialysis for 4 hours, when he got a call from this number. He said the person calling talked so fast and he was confused, but he did give them his bank account number. Thankfully, he got his wits about him and went to his bank within an hour of the call and was advised to close that account and open a new one. Hopefully, he will just **** up on any other calls like this. I, too, called the number back and got an answer in french. I think these people that prey on the elderly should certainly be prosecuted.

I got a call from this number stating there was a problem with my checkings account and I needed to get my checkbook, pen and a piece of paper. When I ask what the problem was she stated she would give me that info once i got my checkbook, pen and piece of paper. I told her I knew my checking info and what bank was she from and she ***g up. when i called the number back, i got a recording in french.

My parents recieved a call from this number as well wanting their checking account numbers stating there was so****ing wrong with the account. When asked to identify himself, he said "you do not need that information".

Someone from this number called my elderly mother-in-law on April 6th and April 8th, 2009.  She has been getting numerous scam calls in the last months (mostly from Jamaica), and is learning to not answer the phone, so I do not think she answered, I just found these numbers on her ID.Thank you for this information, I will caution her about this number as well.
