i get calls from this number at work, and messages on my cell. His name c****es, usually its officer shawn david or brian ***t, but his horrible accent is the same. He says if i do not call him back, all he can say is "good luck"  The  few times i have actually called this clown back, all i get is either a busy signal or nothing at all.  He also calls from different numbers, such as 786-728-8082 or 786-786. it's extremely and embarrassing as***** when he calls me at work! I NEED IT TO STOP!!!

Same deal here. Some very new Indian/****la immigrant or actual foreigner using fake caller ID claiming to be Officer Mike so****ing with the Department of Law and Investigation.I gave the SOB what for and explained that if he was American he'd understand that we don't have "Departments of Law and Investigation" here.Called back the number and got a different Indian guy who then let slip that he had so****ing to do with a payday loan service I had used in the past. I figure these clowns just buy info from such services and call down the lists trying to scare people into paying by pretending their scam is****ociated with the original loan (which in my case I am certain is paid off).He said 2 or 3 other company names when I kept haranguing him. Just like a NERVOUS AND CAUGHT scammer.

i have got these same calls but they use the names officer joha miller  or attorney james jeene i have got a lawyer to find ot what is going on in my case maybe he will stop this from happening.

I've received multiple calls from officer Michael Gibbs calling from department of legal investigation. He left a message stating 3 legal matters have been filed a***nst me and my social and for me to call back at 248-282-5586. So when I called back he actually states my name was used as a reference, I became upset with him and asked him to remove my name and number since I owe him nothing. He demanded and screamed that I needed to listen to him. I ***g up. Same person called back and left another message now he was Attorney John Miller (could've c****ed his voice but no same voice) threatening me that if I don’t pay $5400.00, I would be arrested tomorrow and that I better have a good attorney because I will be going to jail for 9 months.  So my husband called him back and asked for their mailing address, now the pretend attorney said he cannot provide me the address because I don’t owe them anything I'm only a reference and if we can forward a message to the person who used me as a reference. He is from Indian decent has a very strong accent calls me about 5 times a day which I ignore. I just think the messages are ridiculous. I have filed a complaint  with FCC consumer complaints nothing can be done because technically I don’t owe these people anything I'm only a reference. It must be an outsource call center. I've heard of lawsuits a***nst people like this would love to get an attorney to go up a***nst them.

I have been getting phone calls from these people I refuse to give them anything as they refuse to give more information I have been told I would be arrested at a certain time and day nothing yet as they are lying and just trying to make me give them money but that will not be happening cause I have no idea what they are talking about I am tired of them calling me and I will be having my phone number c****ed there has to be some kind of way to stop them

Same clown called me and left voicemail...says someone didnt repay a debt and because my name is a reference its no my legal problem and call back with attorney info...ill let you guys know when I get arrested and or sued.....  NOTICE: (dont hold your breath)

This is a scam. They say they are from the dept of law and investigation. They try to threaten you with arrest. Do not give these people any money. They have been calling me for months.

I also got a message from this number several times. The woman had a heavy accent, from the MiddleEast/India region and said it was some government sounding agency, Department of "so****ing". And I would be in trouble if I didn't call back, at my own risk.Please anyone with info, I would love clarity. I called it back and got to leave a voice mail.

I have been receiving the same type of calls. Telling me he is officer Alex so****ing. He is of foreign decscent - IndiaHe is threatening me with bank fraud. I asked him what is about. He claims a payday loan I didn't repay. I said I wasn't aware of a loan I haven't paid back. I asked for imformation and he said I could not have that information because he didn't have it. But he had all my other personal information.I asked for the date the money was deposited into my account. He said he could not tell me. He did not have all the information. I asked for the name and number of the company that was wanting this money. he said he did not have it.He told me to get the best high paid lawyer for a $300.00 debt? (He claims I owe). He told me he was going to have a sheriff come to my door and supeona me? It just doesn't add up.When I call I just get "can I help you?"

I have received several phone calls stating that a legal matter has been****igned to them and if I disregard this message all he can do is wish me good luck with all of the back luck to come.He states his name is Officer Michael Gibbs and the number that shows up on my caller id 248-282-5586 states that that number is not****igned.  The number he leaves me in his message 248-282-5586 but can not be completed as dialed when my cell phone automatically placed the +1 in front of it.He has called several times a month over the past 6 months and I have yet been able to get in touch with him.  He is of foreign decent possible India..and he always seems to call when I am at work so I have not been able to directly answer the phone.He even called a friend of mine's telephone once and told her to inform me that the police would be at my door.I am totally convienced that this is a scam since none of the numbers are ligit and I have even attempted a reverse lookup and it turned up Vitelity LLC in Birmingham, MI another reverse look up source returned Allegiance Telecom of Michigan in Oa****d, MI so I don't know if their legit or not but whatever you do don't let them get the best of you!!! - Cory
