(248) 307-0817

this number calls me 10 to 15 times per day and throughout the night. I am told by an automated message that it is a number that has been "disconnected", however i continue to recieve phonecalls from this number.  When i answer the call, it sounds like a fax ma****e. Quite frankly, i shouldn't have to deal with this and it is really bothering me.

I was receiving phone calls as well from the 972-797-6421 number, sometimes as many as 5 times a day, sometimes in the wee hours of the night (like 4:30am!).Having Googled the phone number, and finding similar threads, I decided to call my cellular provider (Verizon) and  put a block on that number for both phones on my plan.  That was done this morning.Not 2 hours later, I received a phone call from 248-307-0817.  I Googled that number as well and found myself here.  A***n, I called Verizon and had them block the number.For other Verizon customers, you can have up to 5 numbers blocked per phone line on your plan, free of charge.  Anything after that is like $5/month per line.Unfortunately, I have a feeling a new number will be calling me...  =(

I have been getting constantly harrassed by these same two numbers.  Same story as everyone else:  My phone is a new verizon number, and fax tones in the middle of the night from 248-307-0817 and 972-797-6421.That is a good idea, Rich.  I also put both of these numbers as a contact and set that contact to "no ring."  Thanks for the tip.

I have gotten calls as well from 248-307-0817 and 972-797-6421. Both are disconnected when you call them back...strange and quite aggervating

I got phone calls from this number and the 972-797-6421 number as well but I never picked them up. I have a TracFone but I think it uses Verizon service because my voicemail is from Verizon Wireless. I looked up both of those numbers on whitepages.com reverse directory and they both came up as Unpublished numbers. The 248 number is from Royal Oak, MI from Ameritech Michigan landlines; and the 972 number is from Plano, Texas from Verizon landlines.

I have received calls from this number and one from 972-797-6421.  Both had a similar sound and both came from disconnected numbers.  I am going to some numbers listed that have helped for the other number.  If I get anywhere with them, I will report back.  12-9-08.  Does anyone else that is receiving this call have verizon?

I keep getting this fax number (248)307-0817 calling me in the middle of the night, I have gone to the national do not call list and have registered my number on there, hopefully it will work.  I already blocked one number, now im going to have to block this one

got a call from this number-called it back stated number no longer in service. How could you recieve a call from a dead phone?? W***ver it is please stop. Already blocked one fake number- don't want to do it a***n. It is a waste of my time.

No message left. Do not know who called me.
