Knew my name claimed so****ing about Blue Cross

We get several calls a week from (248) 429-4200. As we do not recognize the number we do not answer the call. Often a message is left (female voice) which goes so****ing like, "If you'd like to make a call..." at which point the message is deleted.

This is a company that is used by nonprofit or political****ociations. They are exempt from the Do Not Call List. I called the number back in April and requested to be removed from their list and the computerized prompt said it would, but I've gotten at least 8 more calls up through and including July.

They implied (BTW this was all a recording) that they were a charity. As others reporting here, I had received multiple calls per day, a few days would skip then it would s**** a***n. When I did receive call from a person they SAID my name would be removed. (Why on earth does it supposedly take so many days to remove a name/number in this computer age?) The kicker was today as it was a recording which proceeded to tell me they had a right to call me. Charlies and political calls are not on DNA lists. THAT MAY BE BUT THERE SHOULD BE A REASONABLE NUMBER OF CALLS THEY CAN MAKE AND HARASS YOU AFTER HAVING BEEN TOLD THEIR CALLS WERE UNWANTED. I said to my husband after the call that it would be a cold day in **** that Ii would donate to a charity or politician who felt this calling procedure deserved a donation. The caller was identified as a Unknown that has been reported 14 times in the past.

This number has been calling several times a day, with no one at the other end. Today, I answered and got a man named "Jeffery" who said he was calling on behalf of "****** Cancer Awareness". I asked him why the caller ID didn't display his company name and he said his company simply represents "****** Cancer Awareness". When I asked for his company's name and address he refused. So I told him I would report his number to NYS Attorney General for fraud if he did not give me the address and name of the company he represented. He ***g up on me. It's a scam.
