I had 2 calls from this number today.  I have caller, Id and because I didn't recognise the number, I didn't answer.  Later I tried to call the number but was told by Telus that my number couldn't be completed as dialed.  I then looked it up by the web-site in the information book to find that it is Allstream Victoria.

I've been getting several calls from this BC number about credit card debt. I'm fed up. Who is this?

credit card scam, wants me to give her my credit card # so she can get me a lower interest rate on all my credit cards.

I keep on getting calls from 412-8815 and this time I pressed 1 which directed me to a  telemarketer. I told her I wanted to be taken off of the phoning list and she ***g up on me!! Thanks Cathy for that link. I will do that right away.  They are so *****in annoying!!

If you are on the "do not call list" you can report these people to the CRTC. I've already done so."Lowering credit card rates" sure sounds like a scam (DUH) and  if you report it you can get them cut off at the knees. numerous calls from these people less than a year ago they had a different phone number, all they will do is get another number every 31 days and recall you, the only way to stop this will be if the CRTC s****s fining the carrier of these lines, and make them responsible for ensuring that they are dealing with reputable companies, not ones trying to commit fraud.

At first, it was a recorded message, saying that they tried to call me a couple of times (not true, it was the first time). then, they told me it would be my last notice. Then, the voice, told me that if i wanted to lower my intert rate, to press 1...what i did, so i could talk to someone. A girl answered. She asked me if i had a master card or visa credit card. and told me i should apply for a lower rate. I told her taht first of all what the message said and that i never received a call from them. secondly,i told her that if i wanted a lower rate, i would call the credit card companies myself. She answerd: well third, i will **** up and that's what she did. ***g up on me, without me being able to do or say anything else. That's what i call one of the worst service i ever had. of course, you cannot call back to make a complaint. BE CAREFUL

They called me today and said they were working on behalf of Visa and MC merchants and could lower my interest rate and wondered if I had credit card debt over $3000 and had made my payments. They then asked for all of my credit card numbers, DOB, address, phone number, postal code. I said who are you working for?

obviously  Telus is at it a***n selling off their old phone lists or  some other person has taken the telephone directory and created a list of older numbers and sold them to marketing firms..i am at the point to get a cell phone number and block every call i dont know.no  messages etc  this way  if i answer i want to talk if i dont   take a walk. i c****ed my number in dec 2009  and it lasted 3  weeks before i s****ed getting calls a***n. if u dont talk they will **** up..  that is the trick.    i got a call yes****ay from the same number a***n so they are doing the once a month trick. and recalling .  THAT DO NOT CALL LIST  is a SCAM.   i put my name on it and i got more and more calls,  was on the news that the telemarketers had access to the list and was using it to know the numbers were valid and that people were there.      whatever happened to protecting the consumer.  not the predator..   oh i forgot this is ca***a  you are guilty till you bu***hit your way out of it.

Telemarketing calls have been awful the last 2 weeks. They never leave a message and when you go into ca***a 411 and type in business-reverse, it always comes up a telemarketer.

Very very rude - apparently a credit card scam being investigated by the RCMP. Do no have a GST registered number to do business in Ca***a. Refuse to take me off their 'LIST'

Just now got a call and didn't bother answering. It comes up as "Long Distance" along with the phone number in the spot where it would say "unknown number, unknown caller" etc. I've had a few of these calls all different numbers, but I just had to come see what it was all about. Seems it's nothing but an annoyance. We too are listed on the DO NOT CALL list and therefore, we should NOT be getting these idiots calling. Annoys the***** out of me!

They keep calling me and when you ask to be removed from the dial list they **** up on you. I am on the do not call list for months and because they **** up on me I am having a hard time getting removed.

They called me while I was on the phone with someone else. I have many relatives from BC with that area code. So we were worried that it was an urgent call. Find out that more that one person have a problem with these unsolicited callers.

This company phones a***n and a***n. One cannot tell them not to call because they quickly disconnect if one begins to ask, or hesitates, or asks a question of the agent.  It can be nothing but a scam.  The recording begins with "We have been trying to reach you....." in an authorit***** tone of voice.  "Wow, am I in trouble??" But no. I hope they are in trouble. What they want is our data. Isn't this illegal?

I have checked out this number. It is not Allstream Corp.  I called one of their helpful reps.  This is an unknown company using the Primus long distance network.

This is a Credit Card company offering to lower Interest rates. I have registered my phone number with the "do not call" system. They are calling from a Ca***ian phone so are definitely out of line.

Am on a do-not-call list, yet this number has called - very poor connection but the come-on is about your credit card and getting lower interest rates or whatever. Always ask to be taken off their call list with not effect.

2504128815 called asking to lower my entrust rate on what kind of card he asked. I asked him to remove my # from there list an **** they **** up. A call back has a fast busy signal. Also had a call today from 4252918401 same thing but there call back says they will remove my # after pushing 1. However unlikely but lets hope.

BEWARE - this is a sure scam!!!!! I called them back and asked information about their offer and they **** up! They just want your credit card information "visa and mastercard" numbers....whew! these guys are like MAFIA....

This is the first scam call I have received from this number.Afterthe usual voice message about this is the last opportunity to take advantage of lower interest rates I pressed 1 and Beth answered.
