I just **** up before they do, but am curious to know.

Just received a call from this number - caller ID 'Unknown Name' - and no one response on the other end when I answered.

I have been getting a call from the same number several times today on my cell phone.  It won't let you call it back either, I get a message that says the number is temporarily unavailable, please call back later.  I will post back if I find anything out though.  It is VERY ANNOYING!

I got someone, well a recording rather.  It is a News Center Voting Poll.  Asking you to do a preliminary vote on who you would vote for in coming election.

These calls are driving me nuts.  Surely so****ing needs to be done about this.  The one time I simply pushed the answer ****ton (didn't actually say*****o), they just **** up.  What is going on?!!!!  Annoying is an understatement. Cowards I say.

Call IDs as OUT-OF-AREA, when in-fact, the area code calling is the same as mine... Caller ****s up when answering ma****e takes call... I believe this is a s****ed number, and is the same caller using

(251) 382-1898  -- This number has called us several (nightly) times.  My husband and I purchased a forclosure back in November and the first time they called they asked for the pervious owner. Now mind you this is our number we carried over from our previous address, our current number that they are calling as of now.  It amazes me that these collection agencies can take the time to research a number and harrass people, but this house was a HUD forclosure so it was listed everywhere as being foreclosed on.  If anyone can help me find out who owns this number, as to what company, so that I can write them, I would appreciate it.  I would love to get this stopped. As of now, they stay on the line long enough for me to hear that is them breathing and other reps in the background, but they **** up as soon as I say*****o.  We get several bill collectors calling us, most have been nice and stopped once they found out it was a forclosure but this one, is annoying!!! Please HELP!
