Its a calling service for various companies.  Mine was a reminder to get maintenance performed on a car which i do not own anymore.  Left a 2 minute annoying message.

i received the call at 6:07 pm. on a thursday. it was a recorded reminder that i had a gyno appointment that monday. came up as "alabama" on my cell phone caller id, which i thought was bizarre.

its not a scam, its dr. doughty in bloomington illinois, its a reminder service for your next appointment

they are not aloud to say the patients name on the recording or specifically which dr. the appt is with.  I know..****** but its HIPPA regulations.

i got a call today  9/6/08 at 10:00 am message says someone in your family has an appointment on tuesday with our office.  Who is someone since I make the appointments and who is our office.  I have no idea who i supposedly have an appointment with.  If I did have an appt that I forgot about, how would this help.

I was on another line when this call showed up on caller ID as "Important Message". Since I don't know anyone by that name, I did not answer!

My sons doctor in Mountianside NJ uses this service to make appointment reminder calls. He is with Children's Specialized Hospital.  I hope this helps.I was going to clear it off my caller info here on-line then listened to the message

I received the call at 6:06PM ET and didn't answer it. Called it back later and got a message saying, "We're sorry, all circuits are busy now. Will you please try your call a***n later. Mobile 251 mobl." Boyfriend thought I got a call from a secret admirer...

I think this is a scam... I do not have an appointment. There wasn't a doctor's name listed either.  It just said "This is a reminder of an appointment at our (whose?) office.  If you do not keep the appointment, you'll be charged."  When I called back, of course it's busy!! If it was a real call wouldn't they identify themselves?

I just got a phone call from this number but didnt leave a message or nothing. I called back but it is saying the person your trin to reach is not eccepting calls at this time??

Southwest Alabama is area code 251 --- is this a ruse to get me to use long distance services?  I had no pending medical appts that I know of.

Imp message shown on my caller id and they left a message.This was actually my doctors office confirming an appointment coming up.

It's the default callerID for TeleVox- They do automated patient / appointment reminders for a variety of healthcare providers.

They called 2x last night -- said it was "regarding my child's immunization records" -- call sponsored by Wyeth Pharmaceuticals.  My kid's ****s are Up to Date.

They left a msg but it was all scrambled so I have no clue what they wanted but it worries me if its so****ing important.

"important msg" shown on caller ID. 10-08-07 @ 5:00 p.m. Left no message.  I didn't return their call.
