telemarketer?

i literally got my phone 3 or 4 days before a telemarketer called me, seriously?

Called me, told me my insurance was over due, or so****ing like that

call came from a disconnected number.. this sounds like someone that works inside or for the telephone company, how else do they have access to these no longer in service telephone number.

Called 7/23/09 @ 9:06 am missed call left no message. When I called back # was disconnected

called today 7/24...called back and got number out of service message...I hope somebody can nail these clowns and the other numbers that call

Received call from this number, did not answer as know no one in AL.

I am on the do not call list and I am disabled and ran for my phone when it rang.  Shame on these people for bothering us!!!

Random call here too.. I thought It might be someone I know, but when I saw the number instead of a name on my list, I dropped the call. ***ody that I don't already know calls me for stuff that I want to hear.

Thanks for the info. I also had a missed call from this number and did not pick up. The least they could do is leave a message so we know who is hounding us.

I just had a missed phone call from this number also and i never give my cell number out. It did not leave a message or anything.

ILLEGAL, HARRASING CALLS TO MY PREPAID CELL PHONE! Plus, this caller has fake "disconnect" message when try to call BACK to identify!

Called my cell phone. Automated message about "healthcare benefits". I ***g up without listening to the whole message. Tried to return the call but the number is not in service.

Answered - recording letting me know about "cheap healthcare coverage". ***g up - been getting a lot of these calls lately.

ME a***n.  I mentioned this in my above post...but wanted to say it a***n.  For all of the  unwanted and endlessly-annoying calls to your CELL phone, add the number to your cell's phonebook list and if you have the option to customize ringtones-****ign the "SILENT" ringtone to those numbers!  And you wont be bothered.I just wish that all cell phone carriers had the "Selective Call" option that our HOME phone service does!  (From Charter). For the endlessly annoying telemarketers & wrong number calls that we get! And there were just too many to block.  So I activated the *64 on my phone and set up only those numbers I WANTED to receive, and the REST are re-routed to a message that says our phone "isnt accepting calls at this time." SWEET!!!!! I LOVE IT.  Just wish it was available for my prepaid phone as well!!!

Me too guys.  The****wipes call me about once a week or more!!  There must be some kind of cell phone directory or they're annoying people randomly, because not many people have MY cell phone either.  Maybe dr/dentist offices that we have been to are giving our numbers out? (Since the pestering calls are regarding health care of whatever kind?)  Just a thought!I wish it was on the FCC's "to do" list to absolutely BAN all telemarketers PERIOD. Obviously they're not playing by the rules and only calling the ones not on the "Do Not Call" registry!  Nor are they calling only the people in the phonebooks either!!!!  They should be restricted to those two exceptions ONLY in pestering people!I added their number in my cell's numbers and added the ringtone "SILENT" to it.  At least this way, the cell wont even RING!!

Just got this call... answered and no one said anything. Glad to know what's going on. Have no idea why someone from Alabama would  be calling me!?!?

When I get unrecognized calls on my cell, I let it ring out without answering. Then I go to my missed calls & save the number as the name "Do Not Answer." If it rings a***n, I can readily ignore it or disconnect. I've got several set up that way right now.

Call is from alabama, I got it 3 times, never answered. But I recently stayed in alabama on my way to florida. So I thought it was the hotel. Thanks for the info. I've had the same place call my on star phone. It makes me angry.

Health Benefits company.  I pressed 1 and s****ed to chew the guy out for calling my cell phone and he ***g up very quickly.

I've gotten this number on my cell as well but instead of calling me only once when I didn't answer it called 2 more times *** get the hint when I call number back it has been conviently disconnected very annoying

Just got 11 phones calls from this number and it leaves voicmail on my Vonage account. I have it set so it forwards it to my Blackberry and it is driving me crazy! I tried to call it back an it says it is no longer in service.

I also got this call a few minutes ago and did not answer it. No***ays I just don't pick up any calls which are not in my phone book list. I am using pre-paid phone. As long as I pick it up, I'll be charged and it's not cheap....

i missed a call from 251 990 3701 and i have absolutely no idea who it was. I didn't try to call it back.

Just found out from research online "googled" # and it says G.Duke-read further down the complaint page and found out this is "health insurance" call--press "1" to hear what a great deal they have--blah,blah,yawn,yawn-They need to make a living doing what they do at the callcenters (i use to be telemarketer) but i disagree with them calling when someone is on the "DO NOT CALL LIST" me/hubby are on do not call and then we get this-come on Govt officials it is time you do your jobs-get off the can't-can't chair you sit on and do the can-can dance (make people like me happy) stop the unwanted phone calls-The least we should be able to do is call into them and "Waste their time" and therefore they don't make quota "and have to shut down-by all the firing" done if you don't make quota--TSK TSK---give the public a break from these kinds of calls!

Got a call from this number today - 7/2/09 on my cell phone.  I have not given my cell number to many people. I would love to know who this was. When I called it back I just got a very fast busy signal.
