This caller said they were Pitt County Sheriff department of North Carolina. They alleged my husband missed jury duty and that there was a bench warrant for his arrest. They sent phony do***ents to his phone. They said the phony sheriff's name and that we had to go to the local sheriff to straighten this out in ******ia. They had a police scanner in the back ground. EXTREMELY scary and realistic scam. BEWARE!! Will be reporting this number with the actual Pitt County Sheriff and Greenville NC police!
