Called elderly couple. Said his name was Dave. Needed money to get out of jail. Head on collision. Gave case # 026712015

Tried to scam my mom who’s 84 years old out of $7000.00. Said her grandson was in an accident and in jail he needed the money for bail. Luckily she didn’t fall for it after calling a family member to confirm .

Young man w/ a very faint Hispanic accent called my mom, age 85, w/ wild tale of being injured & in jail after running a red light & causing an accident that hurt a pregnant woman. He asked her to call a lawyer who was helping him, Ruben ***dy, @ this number. I called Ruben. He wanted the case # AND name. I gave no name. He told me to f myself. Classy. Shame on them.
