Got three calls today...it's Sunday, the first one at 6:45 in the morning on my cell phone. No one at the other end.  It rang a***n two hours later and a***n, just now (8:45pm).  Very annoying.  Phone number is registered out of Elizabeth City, NC.  Probalby some redneck hick playing around

This may be one  of those computer dialed numbers to see if there is a live person on the other end.  Once you pick up, it verifies your phone number as an active line and sends your number our to a few ***dred telemarketers.

I've been getting calls on my cell phone from this number but when I answer, no one is on the other end.

It's a s**** cell phone number tied to a telemarketing firm for AOL.  Althouth this practice is illegal, it's hard to proove.  The number is registered in from north east corner of North Carolina.  Called every night for a couple of weeks now. Never leaves a message.  When I finally answered, there was a click and then a telemarketer came on trying to sell me AOL services.  Even though I refused and asked to remove my number, they're now calling me twice a day from different numbers using 000-000-0000.  AOL is a plague...

It's AOL trying to push their service (virus) on my computer.  They've called repeatedly over the past month and are very annoying.  Because I once used their service as a trial, (which crashed my computer), the continue to offer me incentives to return yet harrass me almost daily as their marketing tactic.  Very Intrusive as they call both my home, cell and work number.  NEVER USE AOL!
