Number called me today trying "to get information to my neighbor" and asked me for the best way. I told them to mail it, they obviously found my number by looking up my address, so they obviously had the address already. Does this actually work for some collection agencies? I did not even know it was a collection call, until I looked up the number here.

Fist collection call in a year from my own area code.  The line was live this time; no pause at the beginning.  The woman sounded like she could be a local, "Is this ____?" she asked."Yeah, that's me," I replied."Hold on, I have an important call for you.... ""Is this ____?" the second woman asked."That's me.""This is ____ from United Recovery.  First we need to verify your name, address and phone number....""Wow this is a first," I said, "you guys are good," and ***g up.

This number called me at 8:11am and no one spoke when I answered. The caller then ***g up after 10-15 seconds or so. When I called them back they wouldn't tell me who called or why they ***g up. they asked me a bunch of questions only to determine that they had called for someone who does not live here.

Had a missed call on my cell phone from this number. I called back. It was Verizon Wireless.

collection agency. company also has the ability to use many local as well as out of state caller i.d. numbers

they call my house and my cell EVERYDAY! and when i answer they don't say anything, so i stopped answering them...jack***es!

****-offs call EVERY day s****ing @ 8:15 AM and I am sick of it! Who do I report them to??

KEEPS CALLING SEVERAL TIMES A DAY ALSO LOOKING FOR MY SON WHO DOES NOT LIVE HERE ANYMORE.

Keeps calling me and ****s up when I answer the phone. Then when you call back, all you get is a recording.

almost everyday sumone calls from that number and don't say anything.
