Pretending to be IRS, dating there is a warrant out for your arrest for taxes due after an audit of your federal taxes of the past 7 years

Got multiple calls from this number. Of course I don't believe the IRS would issue a warrant for my arrest without sending a regular or certified letter to my address of record. The IRS always makes multiple mail attempts to contact you. Plus the call never says who they are calling. The IRS would always verify who they are contacting using a live body, not a computer.

Scam. got a message telling me that an arrest warrant was issued in my name and call back now before that information is shared with state authorities.

Didn't pick up, but they left robo-message that was half cut off. So****ing about a federal case. I've been called twice in the past two hours.

They call saying that they are the IRS and there is a warrant a***nst your name and iden***y. Notice that they don’t use your name or iden***y. That’s already extremely fishy. Second, the number they tell you to use to call them back is not the official number for contacting the IRS. Don’t fall for these scammers.

They have a warranty for me

This is a fraud scam number . They will tell you in a recording that a warrant for your arrest has been issued by the IRS isf you don't pay your tax penalty right now with your credit card !!! BEWARE!
