I am selling a product on Craigslist and got an email from [email protected] saying he was on his honeymoon in Hawaii and wanted to buy my product for a surprise for his new wife. His secretary would mail me a cashiers check and his movers would show up to pick up the item. He just needed my full name, address, and phone number to cut the check. Not having any of his info I wasn't about to give out that much of mine. I was surprised that the emails kept coming. I would respond and he would respond back. He said his phone number was 253-242-9624 and that is how I found this site saying that number was a scammer. I'm really glad I found out that my instincts were correct. When I googled the number it said it was a landline based in Washington. The name the person is using is Kevin Hall on the emails. When I looked up the email address it came up as Kevin Hall in Modesto.

These is part of an internet scam. These people are fraudulant and are mailing fake cashiers check with a stolen iden***y. They target craigs list and mail a closed account on watermark paper. The remitters name was stolen. Let's put these people in prison where they belong. If there in another country **** up their time and string them out.
