Up to ten calls a day now from several variants of 253, including 253-246-8515, 253-246-8514, 253-246-8510. Nothing worked. No help, only denial from Washington state's Office of the Attorney General. Even told her these calls appear to be coming from a land-line phone w/multiple exchanges located in Kent, WA., and that there had been hundreds of complaints easily found on such websites as this. She denied any specific knowledge of this 'scam" herself and suggested the FBI...as the originating entity was probably offshore.

Got a phone call from an out-of-state number that I don't "know" or recognize. I didn't answer, but looked up the number here. They left no message. I am on the National Do-Not-Call List, and have been for over a year now. (I guess this is our government at work for us.) I'm going to http://www.fcc.gov/complaints AND to https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx and see if that can get the government to work for me, and stop these calls. (Yes I will go through all those steps.) We should all pile on. [I have also bookmarked these URL's.]

I received a call from this number indicating that it was a "do not call registeration list" they wanted me to prompt 1 to have my phone number removed. Please advise what this is .

One other thing I have found out, most of these numbers are actually not in use. These scammers use a computer & tap into unused numbers & make the calls that way. I went on the do not call registry's website & they have a message on there about these scammers.

I got a call from this number saying it was card services & that I qualified for a lower interest rate on my credit card (even though they don't know who I am or what cards I have). I hung up, & when I called the number back, I got a recording saying it was the automated service for th do not call registry (it's not). I had the opportunity to leave a message & I let them know that alot of people are aware that they are scammers.

The "Card Services scam has called my cell several times from different numbers: 253.246.8541, 503.902.8997, 503.468.5531, and 508.475.1968. I am on West Coast (in California).

similiar here! I pressed one thinking it was from one of MY cards, I asked the JERK which card of mine he said well we're 550 credit cards like everyone else when I was asking to remove me, the jerk hung up on me.

Helen Ray is a spammer. That's a pay site. These calls are all some sort of credit card scam.

It was a recorded message saying they were with my credit card service(did not mention service by name, vague) and this was the final call about yada yada blah blah. I hung up. I have gotten several calls with the same recorded message.

Called repeatedly on the Emergency Cell line for a human services agency. I pressed "1" to talk to a real live person, and when I told them this was an emergency line, they hung up on me.

10 AM Eastern, no message left.

4th number same automated message. they claim to be marketing agency then give you the option to opt out. I am afraid it is a scam to get numbers....

I have had this call many times and they hang up if you get to ask them to remove you. Did a search on the number and all I get is it is: Kent, WA registered to name "Comp Dd" It is a land line provided by Tel West Communications, Llc - Wa Kent, WA 98030 - no other details. When I called back I got a recorded message claiming to be a "do not call" registry. Why aren't they shut down?

It called my cell phone. It is automatic/recroding message, which is talking about something regarding credit stuff. It has been calling several time in past few months. The last time, I answered the phone call and hangup after I heard it for couple seconds. I believe it is a spammer.

"Card Services" Rachael. Pressed on to talk to human. Lower my interest rates, Visa, Mastercard. Told the guy I am aware he is a fraud. Laughter in background, with a hang up. Police in Kent, Washington need to get on this. Similar calls at home to my "do not call" phone. Does no good.

I have received several calls from this number. When I attempt to advise them that my phone is on the national and state do not call list and instruct them to remove my number from their auto-dialer, they quickly hang up.

This is my cell phone, used mostly for business. All of Wyoming is area code 307, so I just let this go to voicemail. I suspected it was a sales call.... as this excellent web site confirms.

Got the call this morning! Same as above, wanted me to lower my interest rate. Kept saying they were with "Cardmember Services"...I knew it was a scam from the original recording but decided to have some fun...by the THIRD time I asked the guy "Yes, I understand you work for all companies, but which one of MY cards are you referring to?" he still didn't give me an answer. I asked him if he thought I was really that stupid and he just grunted and hung up :)

This call asked me if I wanted to lower my credit card rate. When I asked the guy which credit card it was because I didn't have a card the line went dead!!!
