AHH,, this number is driving me crazy. They call at all hours, and when i answered and told them to stop calling...they called me seven times in three minutes! ***, why haven't they been stopped?!

They robo-called pretending to be a lawyer for a debt collector - I knew right off it must be a scam because I have no bad debts. After looking online I've found several sites where people have been scammed or harrassed after answering the phone - this is a SCAM run by an ex-con from Florida.

They called on Friday 1/13/11 and a***n today 1/16/11 & did not leave a message either time. When I called back today, it was an automated system telling me to enter my phone number in if I do not want to receive anymore calls from their "customers". ??? They also give you an option to speak with a live rep, but I didn't. Hopefully they won't call back.

The Caller ID shows US CC. I think they are either trying to get you to transfer a balance or they are a collection agency trying to give you the impression they are Official.... Office what, BS ? They are dead in the water. Just got the number last week and moved here from Desert.

I got a call from this number 11/15. I did not answer it because I do not know anyone in WA. What is disturbing is that my Facebook account was accessed from someone in that same area and c****ed my password. Facebook alerted my on that and locked down my account. I have received calls from both Kent and Renton, WA (Seattle) in the last couple of weeks.

I got a call from this number and it s****ed with voice recording saying how I can lower my credit card rate.. I press 1 and got a voice operator. I asked the lady how did they get my information because I don't have a CREDIT CARD.... She then just ***g up... They are out there trying to get your information. Don't give them nothing... My lookup says it was from CC us, CC Kent, WA......

I got their call and called them back and it went immediately to their no-call system, which was good. It further went into either voicemail or to a live representative by your choice. I left a foul message for them just because they were chicken**** enough to call me at 8:40pm and not answer when I quit what I was doing to answer the ***king phone at THEIR whim.

I did in fact recieved a call from (253) 246-8586 twice. I decided to pursue it and a guy got on the line and he s****ed asking me a lot of questions about how much do I owe and what interest rates were I paying (highest/lowest). I thought it was odd that during all of this talking he never properly introduced himself or provided his company name. So I asked, he said Account Services. Fishy eh? So I asked for his website and he stuttered and said that he did not have a website address to give to me. In this decade what business does not have a website? So I told him that I do not feel comfortable giving you any of my information and he began to speak, I didn't bother listening to his song and dance and disconnected the call.

Received call on 11/9/11 at 10am. Left no msg and I'm not wasting callback on it.

NO NAME PRESENTED NO ONE TO TALK TO, I PRESSED 1 THEN WAITED A FEW SECONDS FOR A RESPONSE, I DID NOT RECEIVE ONE SO I ***G UP. recorded message stating "there is nothing wrong with your accounts, for reduced rates: press one" received 30 minutes after i spoke with another scammer (859-283-8074) seeking payment for an account i have that is currently closed for fraud investigation

Scammer. I pressed number keys to talk to a person so that I can ask them right away to "add my number to their do not call list." Mine is already registered in the national "do not call" registry. The person at the other end responded to my voice. As soon as I requested to "add my number to your do not call list", he s****ed continuously saying.. I cannot hear you, I cannot hear you... I re-registered my number in national do not call registry just to make things sure. I intend to file a complaint at FCC. got a call from 253-246-8586 (a Credit card interest rate scam) twice and decided to pick up the second call and got the typical "press 1" recorded message. A guy came on the line and s****ed in with the questions to "qualify" me for their rate reduction services (see, they only want you if they can make big bucks off of you, otherwise they will **** up on your a**!) He actually LIED and said the only reason they were calling me is "because of my good payment history" REALLY? at this point he doesn't have the slightest idea who I am or even what my name is! and apparently he also doesn't know that I don't HAVE a credit card. I ***g up the phone without a word and he called me back within a minute from a completely different caller ID number of 949-632-4264 which proves that the first number was forged to hide his iden***y. He called twice then gave up. This second number is also****ociated with many scams, abusive calls and Do Not Call list violations.

I'm on the do not call list. I answered the call instruction was to push 1 to reduce my interest rate a person picked up I said please take my number off your call list they ***g up.

I received a call 11/4/11 at 1:42 p.m. CST from this telephone number. I answered the call; but, the calling party never said a word. They took a moment, then ***g up. I wish I knew who the caller was so that I could send them a nickel to buy a life!

Contact your state attorney's office; this is the only way to stop them.

I received a call from this number saying that they could help lower the interest rate of my credit card. They asked for the number and said they were verifying that it was in good standing. I knew I was safe because this card was maxed out!! They then told me that they would call me the next day and tell me my new interest rate. I called my credit card company and they confirmed that it wasn't legit. I also cancelled the card so they couldn't make a fake one.

Caller does not respect the National Do Not Call Registry. Caller will pretend to have an existing relationship with you and seek to inquire about your Visa/Mastercard accounts. This may be fraud/scam. Caller refused to identify the name of the company and disconnected abruptly.

It has to be a scam because I dont owe on any of my credit cards. Wish the government would find someway to stop these shady scam phone calls.

I actually answered because they called my cell. Automated voice said it was "Rachel" with cardmember services. I ended up talking to a person and asked her what company she represented and to take me off her list. She ***g up on me. Make sure to register all your numbers with www.donotcall.gov, and make a complaint a***nst this number!!

I've gotten a few calls here. When they asked me how much I was paying in intereste rate for credit cards, I said nothing because I pay my credit cards off each month. They ***g up. Asked what credit card they were representing. They replied that it was for any visa, mastercard, discover or american express. I said any card that I had was through my bank and they told me that they would be able to lower my interest rates (obviously they don't get that I don't have a credit card - just a debit card). She told me that she would have to inform my bank that I refused to lower my rate (how the***** does she know what bank I use anyway)?

Received call from this number on my cell phone. Spoke to a representative who refused to tell me the name of their company or what credit card company they represent. The representative became belligerent when I asked how they got my number. I reported the call to www.donotcall.gov. My cell and home phone are on the do not call registry. IMPORTANT - ANYONE RECEIVING THIS PHONE CALL NEEDS TO REPORT THEM TO WWW.DONOTCALL.GOV. The more complaints, the earlier law enforcement can shut them down.

I do frequently get calls about lowering my interest rate or lowering my mortgage rate, they love to tell me that they received a call or got an inquiry online with my phone number, however I ask if there is a name & they say no. I've repeatedly asked to be taken off these call lists to no avail.

Just got a call at 10:00 AM today. I did not answer, but guessing it was spam as you all indicated.

I received a call at about 9pm on a Monday night. As per most I did not recognize the number and let it go to voice mail. No message left! I used my very handy Number Guru app and saw all the complaints, as per one complaint above me I also filed a complaint with the FCC. It took about 5 minutes online fill in the blank form. I bookmarked the site for future use, as I think everyone should! This fantastic app is just the beginning to stopping spamming telemarketers!!!! We need to follow through!! Thank you Number Guru for your part, also thanks to the person who left the FCC link!
