I got a call and no answer.  I put the call in my blocked caller list.  No more problems.

caller id siad "My CB"; phone rang 3 times, no one answered when I picked up the call

more of these phone calls increase the longer o****a is in office

I said*****o three times and received no answer. I then ***g up. I live in suburban Baltimore, MD!

Received call at approx 1:55 pm EST.  Answered, said*****o 3x, never heard anything.  Call ended when I ***g up.

caller ID said VOLT. i answered and no one will talk on the other end ...after 38 seconds, i played mary had a little lamb for them with the phone then i ***g up. internet shows a city near Seattle WASH.

caller let phone ring several times, continues to **** up, no message, saw on tv a scam going around claiming to be police and can throw you in jail for bad debt, people doing it were excons, got over 1 and half million before being caught. thing is, i am a fortunate one that doesn't have any outstanding debt at the moment, another number called and finally said i owed, told them to prove it and sue me. NO MORE CALLS yip***

Had VOLT in the caller ID box but that didn't tell me anything so I didn't answer it.

It comes up on called ID as:  You CB.  You know if the government would act on our complaints they would soon have enough money collected from fines to pay off the national debt..........

Got the call once but from the comments above, it might be the Community Phone Book.

Just received a call from them. My caller ID said "Your CB" Did not answer and they did not leave a message.

I called the number back and got a representative. They are confirming if the Red phone book was actually delivered to my address. They have employees claiming to have delivered the books, dumping them somewhere, and just collecting a paycheck.

Your CB, that's what my caller ID said. There was silence when I answered and no one said anything so I ***g up. ***??

Weird call, ID showing as "Your CB" when I was half asleep...nothing there when I picked up...right as I was about to **** up, creepy sounding guy came on, asking if I'd received my phone book =last month= (usual is last week). Since I had gotten one I think, I said yes. Then read off my address and asked if I lived there, being asleep I confirmed then thought better of it. Then asked if I was (my first name) I said, "I will not disclose that information, this does not sound legit". They ***g up. As seen on another site, sounded like so****ing is recording in the background (very quiet otherwise..no background noise of other workers as is normal for these calls). Sham front for debt collection, establishing location? Gubment weirdness? I've had genuine calls about phone books left and they don't ask about your address or your name! If it is a real company, they do their work very su****iously and poorly. Creepy call!

I recieved a call from this number label MY CB.. When I called back it says and agent will call me back later. I tried calling after 5pm.. Beware I think they tap line for free calling numbers

I received a call from the same number, no one answered so I ***g up.  I was sure it was a call from a call center.  Calls are made by a "predictive dialer" and then routed to one of the employees/operators that are currently no on the phone.  The transfer takes a minute because it waits until you answer to transfer and then you have to wait for the operator to connect before you hear a voice.I called the number and there was a voice recording that stated their Delivery Verification Team was currently on the phone making calls to verify the home delivery of your local telephone directory.  Being in the advertising business, I know that most, if not all yellow pages companies do a random sampling of the distribution area to ensure delivery company they've hired is actually delivering the phone books rather than taking them to the dump and saying they've been delivered.

may 19 i received a call from VOLT.....didnt answer and no voicemail....

Received a call today from this number, no message left.

Rcvd call 4:31 pm.  Caller ID said YOUR CB.  Did not leave a message.

Answering ma****e on, caller ***g up before leaving a message.

Have gotten a call from these people every day so far this week.  I let my answering ma****e pick up.  No messages are ever left.

recieved call from this number. Young girl asking if I recieved my neighborhood phone book. She even tried to describe book. Knew my name and asked if I still lived at my current address. I said no. When I s****ing asking her questions of why she would be calling me, "just checking on our drivers". When asked what company she was with and why wouldn't Bellsouth call and not her, she ***g up. When I tried to calol the number, the line turns to static. Fearful of this caller, unsure why. So****ing is not right.

Don't know what this call was all about. Did not answer it and they left no message. Caller ID say's "VOLT".

These people just s****ed calling. I have no clue what they want or why they would be calling me from that area in the USA.

I just received a call with the same information.  The guy on the other end asked me if I received a little red phone book left at my home within the last couple of weeks.  I said, yes, I think so.  Then he said, Is your adress still...he recited my address.  I,not really thinking, said yes.  Then he said is your name Janet.  Once a***n, not really thinking, said yes. Then he saids thanks and ***g up.  If I had it to do over, I wouldn't confirm anything.

Calls with a Caller ID that says "Volt". When answered, nothing but dial tone.

No message left, don't who this is. Will not answer to anyone we don't know!!! We have caller i.d. & said: Volt - don't know anyone by that name!!!

Received a call on 9/10/08. When I answered no one spoke, but it sounded as though the phone call was being recorded. There was a sound of a blank tape running in the background.

Received a call arfoud 7 PM.  Didn't pick up.  From some company called VOLT.  Reported them to national Do Not Call.

Received calls from 1-253-248-***2. Would not respond when phone answered. Typed the number into Switchboard and somehow the searched number came up as 125-324-8***. Have no idea how that happened or why.

Rec'vd call and got a **** up upon "hello".  Got number by *69

Got a call from this number asking if I received my phone book.  Wanted to verify my address and asked my name and to speak with someone.  I ***g up but they did have my correct address.  The voice sounded kind of weird to me.  I hope it's just a spammer who wanted to send junk mail.  Rather that than a creep.

I've received phone calls from this number, they will not leave a message when they call.

I've received 3 calls from this number within the last 2 weeks. The first two times I missed the call and the caller did not leave a message. The last time the caller ***g up when I answered.
