These numbers belong to a company called Political Opinions of America. You can go to their website and remove your number from their database. The website is politicalopinionsofamerica.org I finally took the ****** survey so I could talk to a human. He was nice enough to tell me the name of that company. I already had them remove my number. :)

253-382-9978 and 253-382-9987 call my cell and leave no message. I pay by the call/minute, so I don't appreciate it. If it's worth calling, leave a message!

In response to the person who wanted a recommendation about an app to block numbers from calling you... the best one I've come across costs $20 for an entire year (WELL WORTH IT) and it blocks ANY number you tell it to. It has tons of great features & settings so you can personalize it. It's called Privacy Star. A***n, it's not free but is money WELL SPENT when you don't have to be bothered by annoying calls. It simply keeps your phone from even ringing when a call comes through that is on your "privacy list". I highly recommend it!!

Scammers using the umbrella of political surveys. The government needs to shut these ****s down!

Called Friday evening at 8 PM on land line. Recorded message said it was a political survey and reward for taking the survey was a free cruise. Survey was about most important issue in general election a)high gasoline prices, b)get us out of middle east, c)can't remember, and d)repealing health care bill known fondly as "obamacare" (my editorial). I punched "d" but apparently their system didn't anti****te anyone thinking that health care was more important than the other bad choices, cycled me back to the beginning four times then finally disconnected me. This is boooooooooooogus!

I don't answer any of these calls that say the number is from Tacoma, WA and they never leave a message. Answering would just be a waste of my time and minutes. :)

I KNOW this because *we* have VERIZON and have been getting these SPAM calls since AT LEAST 2004; that's when I s****ed keeping a LOG of them. And, just recently, my husband's WORKPLACE SWITCHED from another carrier to ***VERIZON***. Even before he got his new phone, but AFTER ***VERIZON*** had gotten the LIST OF NUMBERS TO SWITCH OVER, he began getting a TON of SPAM CALLS on his Work Cell. ALL HOURS of the DAY and EVENING, when before he only got the rare occasional call. Our personal cells are INDEPENDENT, pay-as-we-use-them, and we only get a few, rare calls on them, too. Every time we call in with a service problem to ***VERIZON***, they TRY AND GET OUR CELL NUMBERS but we REFUSE!!! I'm sure if we gave them, we'd be paying for SPAM CALLS GALORE on our cells. TODAY, (MAY 2012) in my ***VERIZON*** Phone Bill, there was an insert about a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT A***NST ***VERIZON*** About the CRAMMING (allowing SPAM CHARGES on your Phone Bill without your CONSENT or PRIOR KNOWLEDGE.) We got "CRAMMED" *IMMEDIATELY* AFTER WE UPGRADED TO INTERNET with ***VERIZON***. I'm going to PUT IN A CLAIM, because they did INDEED DO THAT TO US and now THEY ARE GOING TO PAY. How soon before a SAVVY LAWYER FILES A CLASS ACTION SUIT a***nst ***VERIZON***, ATT and all the other BIG CORPORATIONS for INFLICTING THESE CALLS ON US under the "GUISE" that it is criminals overseas or 'little' spammers. *WHY* do you think this is SO EASY for the SCAMMERS to keep this up? The reverse lookup programs on the web all say that it is located in Tacoma, WA. I finally took the call, its a ma****e, said it was Sarah from Independent Survey Group. Survey is about the political climate of the US with a promise of winning a cruise upon completion of the survey. First accepted call - I completed the survey with BS answers to get to the human at the end of the call. I asked her who she worked for and she gave me a canned answer. I asked if there was a manager I could talk to, she gave me the "we don't have a manager on duty" answer. I proceeded to tell my number is on the state and federal Do Not Call lists and that they were in violation of those. She said that I accepted the option to take the survey and that she was only delivering the cruise information promised after the survey. I reminder her that she was still part of the problem. She ***g up on me. Second accepted call - A***n I completed the survey with BS answers to get to the human. Human answered and immediately put me on hold. When he came back to the call he introduced himself and stated, " I suppose you are would like more information about the cruise." I told him I would like to know how to get off the call list.... He **** up the phone. When someone figures out how to get off the call list, please post it here!

I keep getting calls from the same people, but from different WA numbers. Claimed to be political, but really trying to rip you off by selling "free cruises."

Keep getting calls from this # and not sure who it is i do not answer #'s i dont know. i figure they are scammers because that sounds like what they all tell you, is that you have been turned over to a collection agency or had a payday loan for you to set up payments with them so they can get your personal information...

Just received a call from 2533829987, third time this week. Previously they have called one a week but this is getting ridiculous. The one time I answered the very heavy accent stated "whom is this?" I replied, you called me and since you don't know who you called...dont call back.
