Irs message
Automated message from "Internal Revenue Services" claiming there is a warrant for my arrest. Scam.
Spammers!!!
Received a call from 254-433-5126, they left a message on my voicemail (I always screen my calls). They claimed to be from "Internal Revenue Services". Jokes on them - I worked for the IRS for 25 years. If IRS (the real deal) has a problem with you, they will try to resolve it through "snail" mail contact first. We were never allowed to make threatening phone calls nor leave explicit details of what we wanted to contact the taxpayer about in a voicemail.
threatening phone call claiming to be the IRS stating that everything I own is in jeopardy and that a warrant for my arrest had been filed for an outstanding tax debt of nearly $5k. don't let these clowns intimidate you. tell them that you have a good lawyer who will eat them alive in court. don't fall for this ****.
Got a call from IRS stating I'm being sued and will go to jail! Ya, RIGHT! 5/6/2016 12:15 PM
This number left a message at my home phone informing me that the IRS was filing a lawsuit a***nst me and asked me to call back for more information. The name used in the message was that they were "Internal Revenue Services". I called back and talked to a thickly-accented person who sounded like they were in a call center. I asked if he was an Internal Revenue Service agent and he said that he was. When I said that this sounded su****ious, he got combative and told me that a warrant had been issued for my arrest and that I should "pack my bags" because I would be arrested in the next 45 minutes and then he ***g up.
Oh my...this call was about 'my student loan.' Sure it is...I had no debt at college graduation and after tea****g for 30 year I am retired.
