Received a text that stated “Good morning Ms. *my first name*, I was calling about the recent car accident in the Hyundai. Please give me a call back at this number, thank you.” I do not drive a Hyundai nor was I involved in any accidents. I only received a text - no phone call. Definitely a scam!

RECEIVED MISSED CALLS TO INDIAN NUMBER WITH TRUE CALLER ID AS ADITYA PURI ... ITS TOTALLY SPAM CALL.

Got a call from this number and they ***g up. Then they texted me demanding to know who I was, saying that I called them. I blocked the number.

Messaged me on Instagram and said I was recieving a blessing from David and Tamela Mann. Got my phone number and stated I would be blessed with $15,000. I just needed to send them 600.00 to cover the insurance fees from Cash App

11:55 AM called and said my social security number is being investigated.

Claimed I had fraud charges a***nst my SSI # and I was under investigation and to please contact them immediately or be arrested

Told me my social security number had been compromised and that I needed to call right away or they'd s**** legal proceedings a***nst me.

Said I was being sued for tax fraud and was under investigation. I needed to call them back or a warrant would be issued.

Claims to be IRS and threatens arrest for payment information

Same as everyone else , trying to say my family and I did tax fraud. And the message kept cutting in and out.

Said they were the IRS and that they did a random audit of my past 5 years taxes, and I owed money for miscalculation errors. Said I'd be served a warrant by the sheriff department for my arrest within 25 minutes if I did not go to a local convenience store and wire $5,994 to resolve my case. Gave me a fake IRS employee name, a badge ID number, and a file number to try to make it seem official.

Said I was being sued by the US Government cause of some IRS thing and my family was also lol well I'll be notifying the IRS and FBI fraud department since they use US Government name and irs

Said that a formal lawsuit had been filed a***nst me. I tried to ask questions and they ***g up on me

Pretended to be investigating my family and myself for “tax fraud.” YEAH RIGHT BUDDY! Haha

Called to imply I was in trouble with government

This number suggested I was in trouble with the government. I am submitting a formal harassment complaint and forwarding to local authorities.
