They said my account got stolen and someone tried to purchase iPod and phone

This was supposed to be a Fritos /lays promotion. After receiving the check I started doing research on the check, the phone number provided and company and started thinking this is a scam. I was told to deposit it and would get the logo put on my car. But we are texting in this number and this website says it’s a landline and also I googled the address on the check and it’s some little house.
