I just received a call and they ask for Kayla, I said this is Kelli they continued to talk about a $300 debt I owed ATT I mentioned they asked for Kayla and the lady in a not so nice way spelled the name and said it could be*****ounced several ways. I spelled my name and said its nothing close to Kayla, a***n she continued to ask how i wanted to take care of this debt? finally after her mentioning several phone numbers and addresses that wasnt mine she said disregard the call and ***g up on me....

Complete****holes!

I got a call from them too.  No idea why they are calling and they refuse to leave a message.  The only way I found out about them was to look up the number and found this forum.  What is the first thing we do when we see a number on our cell phone that we don't recognize??  We don't answer it!!  Until they leave a message concerning any debt I may have I will never answer their call...

Just received a call from this number on my cell phone this afternoon. They didn't leave a message so I thought I would do some research to see if I could find anything out about this number. Glad I did and haven't and probably will not be calling them back. As far as I know don't most legit debt collectors leave messages?

This is Franklin Collection Service Inc.  I received a call from them stating they had tried numerous times to contact us (which is a lie).  This was the absolute 1st call we have received from them.  They then wanted us to give them a credit card number over the phone to satisfy a $32 bill from 2yrs ago.  We didn't even know there was a bill.  The business they stated sold them the acct, knows our address and has no reason to do this.  When we asked if they could mail us a bill so we could pay by check, they got irate and said they would call us every day until we paid the bill.  It sounds like a complete SCAM to me.  I'm contacting the original business 1st thing Monday morning to find out more.  I'm also lodging a complain about their practices with the BBB.

This is Franklin Collection Company.  They did the same to me telling me they had made numerous attempts to contact us.  This is the absolute FIRST call or notification we have ever received. They then wanted us to give a credit card number over the phone to take care of the debt but then stated it may not be satisfied with that.  When asked if they could mail us a bill, the guy became irate and acted like we were trying not to pay him.  WHAT A JOKE!  The bill is less than $50.  I'd never give a card number to someone like that.  Especially if they are going to s**** adding what they want to a bill. I'm contacting the company that they say gave this bill to them and will ask them first WHY since they know our address and have not sent us a bill or called us themselves.  It sounds like a full ****n Scam!

The recording says debt collections or consolidation after you press a certain number. Calls at all hours, several times a day. Have no idea why they keep calling - we don't owe anything. The research I turned up says they are fraudulent!

I got a call from these ppl on Sa****ay and I did give them my acct info. Now I am scared. They said if I didn't give them my info they would garnish my wages. What do I do?

This ***ken people are ******. called left me message about my checking account.I do not have a checking account. I am reporting it to phone company. That is the best way to get these low life collectors

I received a call from this number and didn't answer immediately. After about five minutes of online research, I called them back and the lady who answered was black and simply said "hello," but not before she said "this is ____ _____, MY name." I responded by asking who I was speaking with and she simply said "a collection agency." riiiiight. So I told her I had read some reports about her number harassing people and she responded with "this is a collections agency." When I asked her what she was collecting, she ***g up. CLEARLY a scam. I hope no one gave out any info to these people.

These ****** people called me @ 10:30 am on Christmas eve morning....I answered, pushed the ****on to speak with somone....waited...waited...and then gave the lady who answered a piece of my mind!!!!! I did nt even know the person they were looking for. It was "an attempt to collect a debt" Geez....These people never take a brea****!! I was appalled!!

I did not answer the phone but called back.  I was unable to understand the woman that answered the phone - I asked her 3 times to repeat the name of the company and she put me on hold.  It sounded like so****ing "CSI"...  I'm****uming it's someone wanting money...
