(256) 665-9141

a Guy named MIke called from 256-665-9141 saying my account was in collections from a 2006 loan and I needed to pay him to get it cleared up. This number is a cell phone number from ***tsville. He would not give me any info about the company only the name of the company and a fax number. I called the company to verify the information and found out my account had been payed off. THIS IS A SCAM!!! He had my banking information as well already. Time to close that account.

I recieved a call from this number last night and kept getting a bust signal. Then it said that the number is inactive, but rang when I called it from another number

We received this call at 3:53 am on Wednesday, December 3, 2008.  When we answered, no one on the other end responded.  The caller stayed on the line.  After no response for about 4 seconds, we ***g up.  This number has been blocked from our phone.

I got a call from this number at 4:38 this morning (thursday). There was no one on the other end, just silence and I said*****o three times. When I called it back throughout the day I just kept getting a fast busy signal.

just got a call from that number, just silence.  then my brother called from his normal home phone number, and asked why i ***g up on him.  so, appears to be a cross in the lines, my brother was calling from his home phone in florida, but it appeared on my caller id as the 665 number...

I got a call from this number at 3:13am. The person knew my name was talking in a high pitched voice. The funny thing was.... He knew to call me by my nickname. My nickname is nowhere in my phone listing. He kept saying "Hurricane Gustav is coming Casey! Hide Casey Hide!" repeatedly. I thought it was my friend. It went on for 5 mins. It went from funny to outright creepy. They wouldn't drop the persona. I ***g up. I call back and get a fast busy signal

They just called me but no one says anything just silence..

I have been getting phone calls for several weeks from this number I have blocked it now. the area a code is for ***tsville AL and the surrounding area. I never get an answer when I pick it up. yes that is a scam never give in info over the phone.

They said they were with the government grant department and i had qualified for a 35k grant.  All i had to do was confirm my info and then to cover the dhl shipping charges i would have to go to a western union location and as soon as i got there call them back.  They would then give me info on what type of non-profit organization to send the money once i did this a gave them the western union confirmation number, they would give me a tracking number and i would have my check the business day.  "Is this a scam..."
