CALLED AND ***G UP

CALLED WHILE I WAS GONE, DID NOT LEAVE A MESSAGE.

We get calls from this and other numbers which leave a message saying exactly the same thing about us being in debt with high interest credit cards. They say we qualify for a special program to pay it off.  We are not in debt and our mortgage payment is automatic.  I suspect this is an ID theft scammer and we pickup and ****up so they cannot leave messages when we see it coming.  They are calling my wife's cell phone since she put the number online with another business.

Caller ID showed EPIP Worldwide and the recording went on about debt.  It asked to hit 1 if you are in debt and want more info, and hit 2 if you are not in debt.  I tried to hit 1 to find out what kind of scam this might be and it disconnected before I could hit the 1.  Maybe it's used to find out who might be home (who answers) during the day or not.

Caller ID said EPIP Worldwide. I answered after 2 rings, there was a pause then a click. I tried calling the number back, but got a recording stating that the number was "temporarily unavailable. If you are the system administrator, please press 1 now."

I have been receiving calls from the number for the last three days around 9:30 in the morning.   I never answer they never leave a message.

Was called seeking information on bills that I owe!!! I am not in any debt. I reported this number(262)-228-5809/EPIP Worldwide, to the Do Not Call List complaint desk...

Answering ma****e picked up: "...monthly payment, blah, blah... to qualify you must own a business that... blah blah..."

Got a call from them.  I had to turn it off as it was an inconvenient time.  They did not leave a message.

Receive a call at least once a week around 9:30 am. I answer the phone butno one answers on the other end.  Caller ID shows the phone number and Mortgage First.

I did not answer and they left no message. Caller ID said "Mortgage First". Never heard of this company. I guess they wanted to talk me into refinancing.
