Leave a CommentSome guy called me from that same number. I dialed it right back and it said the number was disconnected. SALLIE MAE IS A SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Someone claiming they are from a company called "S L and A" for Sallie Mae to collect a debt for a student loan. I'm not sure how accurate this company is or if they are working for Sallie Mae as Sallie Mae has a lot of sister companies that deals with their debt collection on student loans. I am actually quite confused to as why the would call, since all my payments have been made on time. Could be fraud.
A caller who spoke too fast with a strong accent left a message saying she was going to help me with an "involuntary judgement" a***nst me. Sorry, but I have a flawless credit rating. Clearly a fraud.
It probably was Sallie Mae.....They ****. Eff them. They asked for my mom on MY CELL#. They eat eat a *** one. I just ***g up
Why don't the ********* go after debt collectors?!?!? OR maybe the debt collectors ARE the *********...things that make you go HMMMMM. Karma will get all these low life debt collectors. Sallie Mae can KISS MY****!!!! they don't help anyone.
Yep. It's amazing how they can get away with marking an unpaid debt (and regardless of the reason) as a "refusal to pay"---even though you may have even offered to make payment arrangements. It's THEIR way or the highway. This enables them to get a quick and convenient rubber stamp judgment...which is what they want, anyway. Just like the Wall Street "banksters" (THEY caused this economic meltdown and the loss of millions of jobs), who aren't remotely interested in "working" with distressed mortgage holders (HAMP is a cruel and pathetic JOKE), ALL they want is your house...so they can resell it to investors. So, unless we win the lottery or get lucky enough to find a job a***n in this ****py economy,we might as well wave a white flag.
The person who I spoke with from this number was calling about my student Loan. I loss my job last year and proceeded to tell how unworthy of anything that I was, especially and consideration. Prior to last year I was still attending school, which is why they weren't due. But he told me that I since I hadn't made any payments since I got them, he was going to mark my account as refusal to pay. LoL and companies who borrowed government (tax-payers') money trying to bleed the ppl who helped them. They can't take, what i don't have.
