Also received multiple calls from these folks.  The number that they called is on the national Do Not Call list.  I've reported all calls received to the FTC using the link found on http://www.donotcall.gov  I recommend that if you have all the information AND the number has been registered on the do not call list for the required amount of time and you meet all other requirements (they're easy ones) that you file formal complaints a***nst them.  The company may then be liable for up to a $11,000 fine PER INCIDENT.  Think of it as a way to pay off the stimulus package just passed! :)

Area code is Philadelphia.  Gave me the same schtick about reducing online payday loan debt, which I don't have.  Asked her to remove me from their list - she was polite.

This number calls me twice a day and when I answer I get no response! I ahve called it back several times only to get a message say that this persons mailbox is full! What the ???

This number called my cell phone yes****ay.  I answered, and some foreign woman asked me if I had a payday loan that I got on line.  I don't, so I said no.  She asked me a***n, "are you sure you don't have a payday loan?"  I said no, of course, so she said she'd make a note of it.  Very strange.  She had my name and everything.

I just received a call with an "unavailable" caller ID.  It was this  Eastern Debt Relief.  The lady told me that she wanted to clear up my two accounts and if I wanted her to help me.  It took a while just to get the name of her company out of her.  She told me I had to pay day loans outstanding and that she could help me.  I asked her what and where these payday loans were from, name of companies and such, she had no answer.  I get calls like this all the time!  It is so annoying!  It is also scary to know that someone can try to swindle me into paying for so****ing I don't need nor want.  I have been hit on my checking account by different creditors that are scams.  One is "OnGuard.com", "Cubis", "TrueCredit.com".  I have had to have my bank refund me the money and go through hoops and loops to have this stopped.  I'm now on my second checking account.

this is a payday loan debt consolidation company - basically if you have payday loans out there they are tying to solict you to stop pay on the loans, break your agreement which will affect your credit, and pay them $200 plus for the service.  they say they can save you 50% but the damage to your credit isn't worth it
