I did apply for a job using Craigslist. I would be pleased and impressed if an employer would "text" me rather than call or email me regarding an employment opportunity, lol...however, that's not very likely is it. So yes, I received two texts on both my cell phones at the same time from this phone number and I sent a text back "please email me the info" I'll probably just keep texting them, saying thanks for the job offer and I plan to see them first thing Monday morning, asking them what should I wear and if there is a Starbucks nearby the office. Just for fun. Why not. #WINNING!

I just fell for it.. I applied for an HR position and I just recieved a text message saying call back 888-240-0921.  The rep wanted to verify my education and finalize a pre-employment screening. What was the scam?

Scam, Do not call Back. If you used craiglist then they call you.

I just got a text saying I have reviewed your application for the Cleaner position applied for and call 888-272-4814, I tried googling the 866 number but there is no company name etc......I betcha this is a SCAM!!!!!

Texted me from this number about a new job I had applied for but gave an 888 number to call them back on. Never called, read reports online of it being a job scam from craigslist! Do not respond!
