Yes it is a debt collector. They are getting smart and using local numbers. But I think they are calling from India as all the staff I talked to was from India. But I must say they are the most polite debt collecters I have every talked to. They were not rude and did not try to high pressure me with threats into paying my AT&T cell phone debt. And they gave me a good settlement on my debt. Will see how the 2 auto pays on my charge card work out. I hope they keep their word. You can just tell them the person doesn't live there if it is an old roomate.

so what is with this # and all the rest.  telemarketers?  caller id said unknown, asked for a roommate.  possibly debt collectors?
