Hollywood Video prerecorded call.

the calls are now telemarketing the are advertising calls.  You provide us with your phone number in order to rent and therfore we are allowed to contact you becuase if you do not return an item we call, so now corp is abusing it and doing marketing calls but a***n we have to have your number and you provide it so it does not fall under the do not a law because you supplied the number.

First recorded message letting me know that "Alvin and the Chipmunks" was out on video. Visited my local store to inquire about their telemarketing practices. "New girl" was aware of the recorded messages, but didn't know how to get me off the calling list nor cancel my account.  Left message for manager to contact me.  No call back.  Did not pick up second call from telemarketing number that came earlier this month.  Did however register a second complaint on the National Do Not Call Registry.  I will be contacting Hollywood Videos Corporate office today.

Don't call me and waste my time.

My phone has been on the do not call list yet these ****s are still calling with an automated voice message! I called them at the # 877 listred on here and told them my # was on the National Do not call list. He said well they are just calling to let every one know about there service & I advised that IS what the National Do Not call list is for. So apparently they do not follow the law pertaining to that. Needless to say he said he removed my #.....

caller ID - said "out-of-area".  I did not pick up, but message left on ma****e was from Hollywood Video advertising The Chipmunks movie - really annoying!

computer callthey must be desperate.That call made sure I will never set foot in that store.

Got automated sales pitch.  Called 1-877-325-8687 and got on their Do Not Call list.

We've received numerous calls. All for Hollywood Video.

They won't stop calling! I refuse to answer the phone if it's a number I don't know. Also, I don't have an answering ma****e, so they have it ring MANY times before giving up. I've had them call everyday for the past three days now. :(

Caller ID picked up Holloywood Video! Strange??? I worked for them about 5 Years ago...So I picked up the phone to get a ear full of Christmas offers.

This number showed up on caller ID.  They left a message and it was from Hollywood Video trying to drum up interest for the Christmas holiday to buy gift cards, candies, movies, etc...
