Got a call on 8/15/2008, but when I answered there was no voice or message. I ***g up, checked my Caller ID, and Googled the number.I got a "who called us?" site where 5 people had already inquired about this same number, and 1 person reported that it was a telemarketing recording from Payless S***s.All those other reports were dated on 8/14/08 or 8/15/08 also.I then Googled the words "Payless" and "telemarketing" and was referred to a webpage on this site for a different Payless telemarketing number and the complaints****ociated with it.Someone had included the Payless Customer Service # (I'm pretty sure it's 1-877-474-6379, but you can look it up yourself to make sure) in their post where folks can call to have their number removed, so I did just that.The Cust. Svc. Rep I spoke to said they got my number because someone in my household must've shopped there and told our phone number when asked by the salesperson. When I shop there I never give out our #, and our number is on the Do Not Call registry, but when I told them my number to have it removed they had my husband's name as they name****ociated with our #.Guess I better remind him not to divulge it next time, grrrrr....
