Called the cell number for this gentleman after being told by the operator he was "unavailable", gave my first name and asked if he was Kirk.  He asked who I was and I gave him my first name a***n.  I asked if he was with WordSmart and he swore and ***g up.  I called back and he said it was a "private line" and swore a***n and ***g up.  I called a third time and before I could even explain to him why I was calling he s****ed screaming obscenities and ***g up.I then called his office number, including extension, and left a message on his voice mail.  I told him because of his a***sive obscenities I was never able to explain why I was calling.  I told him lots and lots of consumers are fed up with his company continually placing unwanted phone calls even after having our numbers deleted from his calling system (or so we thought).  I told him it was unethical to continue making unwanted calls and the only other recourse is for us to file a complaint with the California AG's office.  I lastly stated since he obviously finds my calls unwanted he'll never hear from me a***n (maybe he'll take the clue).

The caller was rude. She said she called from The Learning Center. When I asked her to explain what is The Learning Center, she did not answer my question and she kept trying to send a CD for ACT. I told her she did not answer my question. She rudely asked if I speak English, and ***g up.

They call twice a day and when I call back says I have to have an access code to call them!!

I've had 3 calls in the last hour!

non solicited phone calls never answer phne keep call also on do not call list ANSWERED THE HONE ONCE TOM STOP CALL NEVER HAPPENED PLAYED THE CANYOU HOLD A MINUTE AND ***G UP OR PUT THE PHONE BY RADIO.

I am getting calls on a regular basis from this company and they **** up!I would like to get any info posted here so I can pursue a harassment case a***nst them with the FCC. They are using their phone "Privileges" to HARRASS me with it. I am reporting them several times a day as I am on the "Do not call" list.Please post any helpful info so I can bring in the necessary authorities to "Shut them down".

why do they keep calling me, it says thelearnignctr. they have been calling for a week, and from early to late at night, and they never leave a message, it is getting really annoying, and im tired of it, cnat find out who they are , or why they keep calling, i havent been answering because i dont know who they are, now that i know that it is so****ing they alot of people are experiencing i surely will not answer,

they just s****ed calling my house this week and at first they were like regular  and asked for my parents.  But I told them they weren't there now everytime I pick up the phone they **** up and now i picked up some guy answered and said to me "get away from that computer" and ***g up.

They call my house 5-7 times a day.  It has gotten to the point that I have turned the ringers off on my home telephone.  When I called the number back the company name that was given was WORD SMART.  They gave me a number to call it is 1-800-858-9673 EXT. 300 to talk to a member of management

I Am On THe National No Call List But they Keep Calling. I did not solicite any information from anyone i am reporting The Learning Center To the proper athorites and since i have told them to no longer call on many occasions i hope they are fined for wasting my precious time

i've added 269-537-2097 to be blocked at www.dontcall.gov but can't wait the 31 days so i just got off the phone with verizon wireless - if that's your carrier call them and they will block this number for free!also - i called 269-537-2097 yes****ay and followed their vm to have me removed from there list - today I've got numerous calls to my cell phone! it doesn't work its like they'll call more. go to dontcall.gov and then speak to your phone carrier!

This company is abusing the Do Not Call Laws.1) Verify that you are registered on the National Registry at https://www.donotcall.gov/confirm/conf.aspx2) If you are registered then file a complaint at the same web site.If enough of us complain, maybe they will quit or be prosecuted.

I get the same thing, just a **** up as soon as we answer the phone. It is so annoying.

They have been calling me also.  I tell them to stop and they continue.  Go to this website and make sure your number is on it. It is the Federal Do Not Call List. If they call you back after 31 days, they could be fined $11,000 per incident.  I thought my number was on that list, but it wasn't.

They call every 5minuests most of the time i answer but they **** up i call back the inbox is full ITS GETTING OLD NOW

Their company is called "The Learning Center". They call and tell you that your child expressed interest (at school) in their accelerated learning programs (which was not true in our case). Then they go on and on about the learning programs they offer. The only way to stop them from talking is to simply **** up.

They asked for me by full name, then when I asked them for their name, they ***g up.

Everest School District (in case another parent googles this number).  Rude and digging for information.  How do you make a sale when you are rude from the s****??"you're hearing me aren't you?"  "I told the other person already!"  "you are his dad, aren't you?!"  When I asked the third time who this was...who am I speaking with, they said " oh never mind...goodbye (click)."Just plain rude.  I called the school and they never heard of anything like this.  Go figure.  (I am gonna call the Metro though.)

They call several times a day and have for weeks.  I finally got a live person today rather than nothing.  They asked to speak to Rob.  I told them they had the wrong number.  I also told him about the many calls and requested to be placed on the "Do Not Call" list.  I did this nicely.  He said well it doesn't help when people **** up all the time, how are they supposed to know they don't want a call back.  I said, what?  Fine.  Just please add me to the "Do Not Call" list.  He then said, It doesn't work when you just **** up like this -- then he ***g up. They have called my house literally twelve times... Now when I answer they **** up, and if someone else answers they say "I MUST speak with Mr. or Mrs. Byers" as if so****ing urgent has happened. I signed up for the GRE and that is probably where they got my number.

Hi - These people keep calling me & i do have a daughter of sat age, & I was told the schools no longer provide sat's ect & i was told i needed to make an appointment for her to take the tests.  I asked if they could send me information on this & they said no bye.  I found this call very strange & called the school where my daughter attends & they were going to check into it.

These people keep calling, and rather than leave a message, they just **** up.  I don't know anyone from this area, but my son is of SAT age, so perhaps they got his name from some list.

You can safely ignore this caller. They call to sell you some SAT study material, and the people I spoke to were quite rude.
