getting calls from this number even though I'm on the DNC list

began "Not a sales call" - wanted me to take survey/poll when refused and request eliminate ph # told I needed to give MY # @ the end of survey.

Caller ID says Thoroughbred Re.  They leave no message.

Got a call tonight. I did not answer and there was no message left.  Got the call at 8:15pm.number was 270-450-1600

Beware of these people for they call from other numbers as well 2709851422.  They have nothing to do with horses.

The privacy act is a part of freedom that we all are loosing more of daily... If we simply do nothing ... We get what we ask for by doing nothing when we should. This freedom thing only works if we are actively, daily involved in it's maintainance...

I've been getting calls on my cell from Thoroughbred Research for the last two nights. Just because they found a way to exploit a loophole in the Do Not Call list does not make the activities of this company ok. You chose that bottom-feeding line of work, and therefore deserve any rage from the people you violate.Also, I have worked as a receptionist for 3 years. I keep a list of known telemarketers by the phone. I have yet to encounter any firm that respects requests, polite or otherwise, to remove a person or company from their calling list. You can go on all you want about politely requesting to be removed, but that simply does not work. Companies and individuals that would deliberately go into this lie of work are already lacking in respect and courtesy for fellow human beings. Why would they honor a polite request to desist?This site, and whocalledus, are awesome tools. With these websites, and my handy list, I can slam the gate on these people. My bosses are very appreciative.

Yeah CCCC you are harassing people when you call their number repeatedly and FORCE them to answer your questions. The people give you their names and number to take off your lists, then they just get put on different lists that are sold to other companies as legitimate contacts--what a lucrative (******) business you are in!. When your company pays my phone bill, then they can call all they want. But as long as I am paying my phone bill, DON'T CALL I'M ON THE NO-CALL LIST FOR A REASON!!!

I work for this company, and NO THEY DO NOT promise you money nor do they ever ask to attach some device to your car. Its a Independent Research firm, like now, they are doing a survey for the government on medicare, why lie about what is going on, just pick up, and nicely ask to be taken off the list, we are just doing our job.  As for calling at 9 pm, law states that research companies can call up until 9 pm.

it comes up thourobreads on the ID , they are scam artists, they call on all diff numbers and u need to report them and block ALL their numbers!

They phoned us about some communication needs survey.  We declined.  They are pushy!

First phone call from this number, there was no one there when I answered. Have now received calls from this number every day since the first call at random times of the day.

I am glad I checked this out, after checking the caller id and not recognizing the name or number, I did not answer, they left no message, I am glad now that I did not pick up the phone.

Claims to be calling on behalf of Consolidated Edison, the electric utility serving NYC and suburbs. I did have a call in to Con Ed. Claimed to be conducting research and asked about the person at Con Ed I spoke to but ended call soon after I told them I only dealt with the automated system.

They have called my number twice and another time that just said Kentucky, never a message.  Thank goodness we have caller id

It's a scam to get you to take a survey.  They promise $50 - $200 to parti****te in a driving habits survey.  They say they will attach a device to your car for 3 months, etc.  They ask preliminary questions to make sure you are qualified, then when the survey is over they **** up.  No mention of the vehicle device.

SKYPE OR DIAL *67, 270-450-1600.  If we all call their switchboard will be jammed.  They deserve it.  They will not stop calling!!!  I read in the Wall Street Journal that this is the way to stop ILLEGAL telemarketing surveys.  They even call on weekends and late at night to my cell phone.  You can also call from GrandCentral.com.  I am on a Do-Not-Call List for all my phone numbers.  They have called all my numbers.  They're as bad as the Auto Warranty Scam Artists that just got fined million$.

Got calls from this number 2 days in succession.  I ***g up the phone, and they called right back.  when I answered by saying "who is calling" the lady on the other end launched into a commentary about a "nationwide survey to help motorists understand their driving habits".  when I told her that I was not interested in parti****ting in the survey, she asked when would be a good time to call back (they listen so well!  I told her that NEVER would be a good time, and I a***n repeated that I was not interested.  At that point, she was polite, thanked me, and ***g up.
