Mr. or Ms. Interesting - ANON is right!  I called Fort Campbell tonight and they informed me that they are not sure why that number is calling people -because yes they called my family TONIGHT.  They****ured me that if there is so****ing wrong with a love one there will be an officer contacting you; NOT leave a message or a number but they must contact the family.  I gave the number (270 798-2151) to the MP's and they did not have a clue as to why someone would leave a number and that's it.

Ok to ANON..first off..if you dont hear anything..its called a delay..so  give it a few seconds..second off..cell phones over there have not so good service...becareful who you complain to

Yes, I just a ****up call from this number.  It's the Fort Campbell base operator's number.  Annoying.

I have been getting these calls for weeks on end.  No one says anything and all you hear is a ringing.  I know it is NOT my husband calling me from Afghanistan as 1) he is not dumb enough to call someone and not say anything and 2) he ALWAYS calls me cell as he has been instructed to do.  When I call the number back, I get the Ft. Campbell Directory****istance line.  When I press "0" for the operator, I get an automated message saying the number is out of service.  I live and work here at this post and its getting rediculous.  I will be filing a complaint with the proper authorities as this is becoming annoying.

It's Ft Campbell - When soldiers call from overseas it gets routed back to the US via one of three army bases. That is one of them.
