Spammer
He wanted to buy my RV and would send me a check for the full amount. No contact. I finally found him using numberguru. He is a scammer, he cost me a sale, caused me some embarrasment, I happen to be going his way and I know where he lives.
A Michael Compton texted and emailed me regarding my RV. He wanted to buy it. His phone is (276)299-7435. Seemed legit since I have an ad in RV Trader. He agreed easily to a price and said he would send a certified check and then someone to collect the carrier. I asked if I could phone him to go over a few details and he said he was hard of hearing ...and that he was soon to have a cochlear implant so text/email was his only form of communication. As long as I wasn't being asked for my bank details I continued to communicate. [email protected] is his email. He had to give me details for the pending ***le work and used a ******ia mailing address. I used that plus his area code and found a Michael Compton on Linked In so I messaged him for verification and he informed me this was all a scam.
I am also receiving fake purchase on our airstream from a Michael Compton. thanks for the heads up
