I received a voice mail from 281-549-5173. It was a man with a heavy Indian accent stating my social security number is under investigation and they are (couldn't understand name) from Houston Law firm. I was demanded to call back now or I will be prosecuted. I called the phone number back. The same man with the Indian voice answered. He asked for my full name and social security. I only gave him my first name and asked who he was, what it was for, why the threats? Do not threaten me like that. He said, he could not talk to me without my attorney present -screaming at me. Saying if I do not give him my name/social security # to verify who I am, I will get arrested and charges brought a***nst me that I am already under investigation. First off,I know I have not done anything wrong to fear of this ****. I told him he is violating the law with those threats. Who is he and he will not have my information. He seemed to have my information he said. I said, then I don't need to tell you who I am and my social security number if you won't identify yourself or the matter at hand. If you already have my info you don't need to hear it from me. He kept saying I was going to be arrested, my social security number is under investigation. I then had my attorney call him and speak to him. He gave my attorney the run around saying my attorney was make believe, I'm getting arrested. The Indian voice refused to state which law firm he was representing (there is no such Houston Law Firm) and refused to give my attorney what the information was being charged for. I told the fake **** to send it to me in writing if he is legit. He called my attorney a bunch of names and then threatened my attorney on the phone as well. He would keep ****ing up on my attorney. My attorney would repeatedly call him back. Then guy kept calling my attorney an a@***** and is suing my attorney that he is going to jail too that he was going to track my attorney down and beat him up. This guy, if you get a phone call from him he is clearly not legit. IF it was a collection agency or w***ver they are, they would identify them selves with no hesitation. Without threats, without harassment etc. DO NOT GIVE YOUR IDEN***Y TO THESE *****S. Tell them to send it to you in writing. I have not received anymore phone calls after my attorney speaking to them thus far. And I have not received anything in writing.....
