Received a text about Illinois Department of Transportation Drivers License Validation - It 's a SCAM asking for DL#, SS#, date of birth and other **** that I'm not providing to a phone number from TEXAS signed IDOT - Let the **** IL Driver's License Services contact me and not ask me to click on a bogus website. Got to give the scammer credit - it took a lot of time to create a webpage that looks official, but they will have to do a lot better to get this 70 year old with a degree in electronics to provide any information without talking to a live person. Block the number now before you get a text from him. BTW the number reportedly belongs to Shannon David, 11900 Wickchester Ln, Apt 405, Houston, TX 77043, but scammers will use any number that is convenient, so don't call or text this number - just block it
